I just analyzed a collection of all images that I had uploaded in 2014... took the total amount of income, divided it by the number of images, and then by the #of months (16 since jan 2014) and the results were a tiny bit better than my Q1 images R.P.I. 

That's probably not an accurate way of gauging it, but it's something.  For instance, some images were uploaded in January, while others were uploaded near the end of the year.  Some were live in the collection much longer.

Paralysis of analysis.  On a positive note, I've uploaded more images in Q1 2015 than all of 2014.  Time for me to go edit some more and feed the beast before I end up losing my afternoon to youtube or social media.

30 a day for a weekday is normal, weekends/holidays....not so much.
I think it has more to do with "nursing license/access to good medical stuff" than "nice" or "high quality".

I have made collections on SS of images uploaded each year. it is interesting. I totally agree that things would be super painful without the income from legacy uploads.

today is indeed low, 90 subs, 10 ODs, should be 15 OD and 110 subs.  europe was low today....

I had a zero download day yesterday on SS on a perfectly normal weekday - something that hasn't happened to me since I joined them in August 2006. I am concerned...

my sales are around 125, 10% more on tuesady or wednesday, friday,monday  10 % less,

april will be lower 200$  then march, equal february, trend is little down, february have only 28days.


no sales?  how big portfolio? do you make at least 300 images/year?

If this is directed at me: I have around 3.400 photos online with SS and add 300 - 400 per year. I never was a big seller, and never will be, but the trickle of sales was always constant... Up to April 2015, that is...

No, I upload my "old" (as in at least one year old) editorial sport shots. That produces (or used to produce) a slow, but constant trickle of sales...

That said, after my zero-sales-Tuesay, I had a perfectly normal Wednesday...

Update: April is not just BME, but the first month to break into 4 figures earnings

i feel i need to write comment, wow yesterday  was low 20 images, half  normal.  Today it should be 25 at least, only five sold, where are customers for my images?

OK, Friday was a holiday in many places, so sales probably would be low. BUT THIS LOW???
And Saturday...well...is Saturday....BUT THAT BAD???
And then of course Sunday. Well, Sunday is never good. BUT THIS IS DIRE EVEN FOR A SUNDAY.
And FINALLY there was Monday. Outside the UK, a normal day. BUT SALES WERE ON A PAR WITH CHRISTMAS DAY.

Whatever is going on?

Same here,only positive was an EL on SS yesterday, otherwise its pretty dire all around.

I'm more concerned over the fact that SS sold just as many images in April as in the previous 3 months but the return dropped away like a stone.

It's got to be as a result of their "exciting" new terms
