I also see in the new terms of service that they are going to begin a CD program where they send the files purchased on CD out to the buyer.  This will result in a 5cent per image sent out pay....

That sounds good I think.

I'm looking forward to seeing if this is a money-maker for them and us.  They say they've done their homework and clients are willing to pay for the backup.  I think it starts in Feb (my highest month by far) so the timing is great.

Hopefully, folks will publish how this went for them here -- If I remember I will.

We could start another thread with a poll in it.. asking for results. It would be interesting to see if anyone makes any extra $$ from it.

If one were to sell 1000 images in a month, I guess that makes another $50.00, if they all got the cd... either way, it is a great bonus for things we are allready selling.... a nice 'upselling' on shutterstock's part.

So are you saying we might get paid an extra 5 cents for some of our feb downloads allready?

I wonder if it will come at the end of the month, or if it will come the same day they downloaded the image (for those who are getting the cd).. have you seen anything?
