Yes, and I am hoping its the reason my sales are non existent today. In my second BME this year, today is the worst day of the month,  with only 7 downloads. Compared to 30-50 in the other 4 weekdays

This is like an episode of the Twilight Zone: iStock is working and Shutterstock is down... Scary!

It is scary that this happens at Shutterstock on a regular basis. Along with any number of other serious contributor bugs; such as missing ports, missing images, missing keywords, etc.

It's not working properly, that's for sure.  I can only get in via submit - I can't open my gallery - one of the threads asking for pictures from Viet Nam shows NO pictures - I can't open anyone else's gallery.  Definitely something going on - and like people already said, what horrible timing to have this happen on the last day of the month.....

Hi guys,

Thanks for your patience.

Shutterstock is currently experiencing a DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack and we are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Best,

With a DDoS everything targeted goes down.

Maybe most do not experience it, but this thread alone has 135 pages. This bug alone has been ongoing since at least 2011.  Just because it is not happening to you, does not mean others are not experiencing it. http://submit.shutterstock.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=114196 (http://submit.shutterstock.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=114196)

Thanks all for the -, a great response for those of us who's incomes have been impacted by long term problems that SS refuses to address.
