Title: Shutterstock Completely Broken
Post by: dbvirago on February 11, 2026, 22:49
Pages don't load, broken links, error popups. Says it is sending me a confirmation email that never arrives. Asking me for my tax data they have had for years.

Same thing happened to me
I logged to my account and gave me an error 500 then it loaded my page but with no earning sales number
For a moment I was afraid that they blocked my account for something or I was hacked (happened to me on yt )
But I didn't get a mail from ss and then when I logged into my account again  I could see my  portfolio there
So a page glitch ?
But it still gives me error
Thank god I now read your thread and it's a glitch
I wanna ask   if someone hacked my account how would I get it back ?i d had to send a mail to their support ?
And provided them with an my personal info ?

The bug seems to be fixed.

Not on my end.

I had this yesterday, and not just me, a few of my clients reported the same thing. Pages wouldn't load, random errors, confirmation emails never arrived even though the system said they were sent. It also asked again for tax info they've had for years. At first it really looks scary, like the account is blocked or hacked. But after some time parts of it fixed themselves for some people, others still see issues. Feels more like a platform glitch than real account problems. Is it working fine for you now, or are errors still showing up?

They are proving how pathetic and broken they are, so the merger will go through.

Well, Shutterstock down 14% at the moment and Gettys down also 14%. Shutterstock misses Q4 revenue estimates, declines to provide guidance due to pending Getty Images merger. Getty Images extends debt obligations, waives condition in Shutterstock merger.
I think the merger is not happening. And both may go under.

Lately, a majority of my Shutterstock submissions are being marked as "data marketplace" within seconds of upload, which is essentially a rejection. I don't want my content used to train AI competitors, so I'm not interested in the "data marketplace".
I'm unsure why this has started and was wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue.

Fortunately, they go through without any problems on AS, which is doing great lately.

Opt out and it will not happen. They will have to choose between accept or reject but not the option of data marketplace. I know some don't agree with this reasoning but that how it works for me.

I am opted out already
This is why these uploads remain forever in a pending state with a "data marketplace" label underneath..

Unbelievable! And sad at the same time! What has become of this once great agency?

That's a rehash of an article from last tear. Not criticizing you, but the current author just found some old news to re-post. It has already been posted here, so she's just re-writing the same things.
