Maybe this means they are trying to fix stuff. Or they have been totally hacked.  ;D

They probably just need to renew their certificate.  That happens a lot.  Usually, though, IT picks up on it quickly and fixes it.

It's only the forum....so it's not like it's something important. :D

They probably just got sick and tired of reading all the complaints about the new submissions page that they decided to end it!  :o

The security certificate expired yesterday. They just haven't noticed yet, or not a priority. ;)

;D It probably was a man .... someone forgot to renew their SSL certificate and you know things of that nature are always the man's responsibility. ;D

I thought we dropped the sexism conversation, I didn't see any replies. lol

Yes, one would hope other issues would get fixed first.

Doesn't mean anything except sloppy management which has been going on since Jon checked out.

That's entertaining ... the few clients that host I everything set to bill my credit card in case I forget ... and I'm one man in an office. You'd think someone somewhere in that organization is there to plan/pay bills, and I'd think some IT guy was like ... "yo, you * idiot. You forgot to pay this."

unless of course, they plan to discontinue the forum. Seems to be causing them more harm than good anymore.

Two days have gone by and it's still down. Definitely not a priority.

They had an announcement to make so they fixed it.

Announcement: No more editing in 'Pending Approval' files. Have to wait until approved. It's an attempt to make the submissions procedure 'more stable'.

Of course, if you make a mistake in your submission (very, very easy with the new 'improved' submissions page) it means that you won't be able to correct the mistake before it's approved or rejected. And if it's rejected for something that you could have corrected before review, that's just too bad and it'll take more time as you resubmit.

I think that you have always the possibility to delete the image and then resubmit it with the correction (or not?)
