And I'm curious - do contributors complain about the information pages or do the agencies just change the pages because they're bored and need to justify IT teams?

I don't know, but I can see a few complaints heading their way now. The map is all over the place, Amsterdam is near Prague, the Republic of Korea is in the middle of the Pacific and Istanbul is now in the Himalayas.

New Delhi is in Japan. And Japan is definitely not in Japan. :-\

What a disaster!

It'd be funny if it was a page one never used, but it'll just increase my use of the mobile app on my phone.  They should be embarrassed that US cities appear to be roughly correct, but everywhere else is thousands of miles off and frequently in the ocean vs. on land!

Worse, the one link I want to use - to my earnings summary - is now off the page (on a large monitor)  requiring a scroll.

I guess this is the genius behind these latest moves - and I can't imagine any contributor asked for these changes.

Assuming the text is right, they got the map wrong, and some pretty funny errors. I think if it worked, we can now check every sale on the map and see where it is and for how much. Who is an improvement, not that I care? But now we get a list of the last 20 sales (I think?) instead of little boxes and one sale location. I don't even know if the amounts showed before.

Here we are again, watching beta versions, SS saying "lets release it now, and we'll fix it later".   ::)

Update: It works now, I'll see what happens tomorrow. But Africa sales are right and so are others.

If it worked, that actually might be an improvement. It still might be an improvement actually. I like that they put the last 20 sales above the lifetime sales total - something that shouldn't be on the front page at all as far as I am concerned. I would like to see the monthly sales graph show sales for all time though - so we can see how they have performed over the years.

If they had actually asked users what they wanted and implemented it, that would be something to crow about.

I'm glad to see the 12 month sales stats back as default, although I notice they didn't reintroduce the 2 year stats.

When the default became 3 months, I really felt it was because they didn't want you to notice the drop in earnings too much. Maybe 12 months is an indicator of more stability.

There are some good new features, such as image and footage tabs on the same page. However, the layout is not comfortable, and it's all been rolled out without making sure all the important features are in place, such as the search by new option.

The map isn't working properly, and the option to see where specific image are sold at a glance has been lost - that's a shame.

The map for the eastern countries seems to be an overlay issue because everything is to the right and a little south of where it is supposed to be.  The Americas seems to be accurate-ish (I'm not a geography major and the map is small).

I really agree with you Jo Ann ~ I find it unbelievable that these people think its a "cool idea" to issue and update without even doing some basic checks to see if it actually works correctly.

Talk about amateur hour  ::)

I wish I understood what you mean. Instead of having to go to earnings, now we see the last 20 downloads, where and how much, with the data, that's on the landing page? Seems like this is an improvement of easily seeing earnings with locations in one spot.

Location    Earnings    Date on right list

How is the old map better? No date, no earnings, just a location dot and they are all stacked on top of each other.

Just can't wait to see the new map when I get a download from the Atlantic Ocean.  ;)

Now it works again to me.

Numbers didn't match, downloads, earnings and unpaid earnings. Now it's updated.

I really like the bit that shows your last 20 downloads.

Agree with @KuriousKat that seeing 12 months instead of 3 is an improvement but the old 2-year graph would be much more helpful. I'm guessing they worry about unfavorable comparisons.

It's a good thing customers don't see the map. One license to Taipei, Taiwan appears to be on mainland China, not a good sign!

Using town names in the US without the State is tough enough, but when the map is off it's really pretty funny. I can't imagine there are so many towns in Florida that I've never heard of, which is where I seem to have a big cluster of licenses.

For a tech company with so much know how, you'd expect things to work better, but I think it's still an improvement over what we had.

I like the new page much better, better data, I don't have to move down to see the map.
