If SS offered exclusive and that would mean higher commissions or some benefit for me, I'd do it in a second.
That doesn't mean that it's good for anyone else. Just for me and the way I sell RF.
For the closed view negatives (aside from it will "never happen" which it wont, so no argument)
If McDonalds offered 39c quarter pound burgers tomorrow and free soda, would every other burger and drive through go out of business? No Way. So why would SS offering something positive for contributors, kill the whole rest of the market. Expand your minds. That's impossible.
Exclusive doesn't always mean the best. Some people will want to continue to sell on multiple sites. Some will never sell subs. So logically some images will never be on SS! Buyers will want their work and frequent other sales markets.
This isn't Monopoly or Risk or some game, where someone can win and own everything. It will never be that way.
And someone else pointed this out. RPD and PRI are fine for evaluation, within a closed system, but saying SS is bad because of RPD is ridiculous, because Alamy kills every microstock site, sometimes one download equals a whole months downloads on Micro. Percentages, RPI and RPD are statistics. Like percentages, they are numbers, not dollars. SS makes the most dollars, end of argument.
