And for anyone that thinks deleting their images is useless this is what most of the pictures on SS look like. Most of the database is just garbage they accepted to make it look big. If we can delete around 10 million of quality pictures it will really hurt SS in the long run. Buyers will stop getting subscription if they can't find anything usable.

stockphotofan1 is becoming quite famous, but I think he should change his name to anti-stock to cash in on it.

Freepik and ss now have much in common  8)
And yes we must turn off imagery faster, coz they profit 3 times faster.

I have seen now that the group
https://www.facebook.com/groups/261369748434285
has a new administrator: a brand ambassador of Freepik!!
Unacceptable for me.

The Freepik brand ambassador is gone and Jake is trying to put back together the rift his inclusion started.

Jake is a video producer and new-ish to this so didn't have a clue just what a toxic issue Freepik was. He's trying to regroup & move forward.

There's always the entertainment value of some of the filler Shutterstock is trying to plug the holes with :)

Yes, I applaud Jake, hes doing a good job. Glad the Freepik guy left. I rejoined this morning. But you are right, its exactly like herding cats. Lots of one-upmanship going on, with the writing of letters, etc. I will just continue tweeting and re-tweeting, thats all I have time (and patience) for right now.

Your port should be like this.

According to stats dumbheads continue to upload.
They are hopeless.

Who knows it's a dark strategy of freepik? Something is cooking fishy.

I think that requests to return everything as it was will not be effective. They are neither our blood relatives, nor even friends. Petitions will not be effective. Only tough and decisive measures will have an effect. The easiest thing is to stop uploading new images. I remember the last time I stopped uploading because of the requirement to make a large artboard, and after that I received a letter from them asking me to start uploading again. All images become outdated at some point. Shutterstock will not be able to function for long on the old images. Even monsters need food! Unfortunately not everyone will stop uploading to Shutterstock.

Well I seem to have lost interest in uploading to SS (and their BS sidekick)

Come January those $0.10 sales will go down again when we're all reset to level 1

Must go, got a lot of uploads to do elsewhere lol

Looking at vectors uploaded by date most of the new stuff seems to be utter garbage from factories.
Was it always like this or is it a product of anyone who values their working stopping uploading?

Shutterstock shenanigans: This morning I found an incorrectly spelled vector in the middle of page 1 in the most relevant search. I posted it to the coalition group. A half hour later I checked again and the image had been replaced with the word spelled correctly, and had shot up to the #2 spot in most relevant.

All of our videos now also turned off at Shutterstock. Awaiting some answers from Pond5 but we will probably go exclusive for video there shortly.

The crazy joke is that you can now make more money per download on Bigstock than you can on their parent company shitterstock!  ::)

Anyone with an Unsplash account here?
I thought it'd be nice to let this person know about his image being sold by an other "contributor"

The author of the image: https://unsplash.com/@petewright
The other contributor's image, accepted by SS:

Can we also rate their apps on google play store and istore, it should be a callout everywhere.

People started that and the main app dropped from 4 to 3.5 stars and SS started using bought reviews to pad it up. So its definitely something they care about and is very visible.

Yesterday I deleted this image at shutterstock
https://stock.adobe.com/de/stock-photo/id/269596670
Nothing exceptional, but today I sold it at Adobe, receiving 0.99 Euro instead of 0.10 USD.
Don't be your cheap competitor  ;)
