Has something changed? It's been awhile and I thought I could upload files with identical names and they would be recognized, and associated. Instead I ended up with 14 EPS files, with no data and the 14 JPGs with the correct data. Anyone know for sure, the right way? I can use FTP or HTTP, doesn't matter to me.

Was SS the place that required zips? JPG of every image, paired with the identical named EPS?

Maybe I'm better off, as all the JPG were rejected for either, not marked illustration or missing property release. All the vectors were accepted. 

How were the vectors accepted with no data? I thought they would bounce with an error.
Anyway, you need to have the metadata in the eps file.

On Shutterstock you only upload EPS files, no additional jpg files.
That was changed maybe 3 or 4 years ago already.

Too bad, CS3 doesn't import data when I open a JPG and convert it to an EPS, so I have to do all of that manually. I suppose I can cut and paste. As always I'm looking for the easiest way to do things, not the longest and most complicated.

The software I use doesn't embed data into EPS files.

Just noting, if you save files in Xpiks, it will embed metadata both to EPS and JPG (preview).

Thanks for the tip. I also see some other ways. I'm not sure about CSV files, but that's also an option. I see in illustrator I can add data, which I hadn't looked at before.
