Why my topic Worst Month Ever is removed? We were getting amazing stats from fellow contributor and it was kind a help to heal our wounds  :'(

I wasn't paying attention...did someone post their earnings at SS? If so, it's against their TOS. Maybe that's the reason?

If it was the reason I think that the admin could just delete the offending post.

Nobody ever quoted their earnings but just the random feedback instead. Not sure why admin removed that. It was working fine in last two months but removed all of sudden.

It wasn't that bad, even amusing at times :)

Is it really not allowed to post earnings in this forum? That's the juiciest part of it!

I believe I've read on msg that SS forbids their contributors from posting their earnings.

One reason to keep discussions here.

I am surprised though, SS is usually open minded.

Very few sales and all subs, 18 days since I had an OD or SO! Will be lucky to make payout at this rate.

April is on pace to match my March earnings on SS.

FT is on fire and I'm on pace to a new BME.

Not just you.  Too early for summer slump, but it feels like that.  Almost halfway through the month and on track for WME.

Personal attacks and insults like calling out a entire country or accusing people of what they aren't. Same cat have had many of his threads removed. You can't cure stupid.

i didn't even notice it was deleted LOL
but if it was due to the two reasons assumed..
1) ss forbid
2) too much backstabbing

it could have been better to just ban the b*st@rd  for commiting 2)
and as for 1), since when has ss been the moderator of this forum>???

what good is a forum if there is such a restriction??? it would no longer be a forum.
back-stabbing has driven a lot of old commentors away from this forum,
and if we just let topics go to only allow the nice woo yay topics, this would be
no longer a contributors forum to visit.

yes, it was a good topic to whine... (no harm done)...

but if it was removed due to report issues, that too is absurd..
if it was in fact your worst month on ss,
how do they justify banning the truth???

that would be as bad as censorship by despotic govt, which i am sure no one likes.

Yeah, it was removed because it was degraded to a simple back and forth spat.  I could have removed the last page or so of the discussion but chose to simply archive the entire thread and be done with it.  Sometimes it feels easier to start fresh.  :)

Very average sales in April, March was way better (exept for a few Easter days). Hmm, I actually expected that April sales would be like wow ;D since it is high season and no big holidays

I just noticed that my gallery views almost disappeared after the changes made few weeks ago

Sales are lower but still ok, but gallery views are from 15-25 weekly to 1-2

I am slightly down from March but ebb and flow is normal.  However, what I see that's newer on SS is significantly bigger deltas between months. For example, once month is $600 and the next is $1200.  That is a huge swing and I see that happening more and more on SS, just not this particular month.

Maybe they implemented the istock "ebb and flow" system where your files are available some of the time to give other files a greater chance...

The handwriting was on the wall when they lowered the minimum payout from $100 to $35.  They knew full well then that earnings were going to drop drastically due to whatever changes they were putting in place and they needed to make the change to keep the lower earners mollified.  Otherwise it could be months or longer between payouts for them.  They also needed to do that to keep their accounts payable numbers at a reasonable level for accounting reasons.

Just for correctness sake: $100 was the default proposal, but anyone could set the minimum payment to $75.

Anyway, this April is far from my March BME, indeed.
I'm only dollars away from matching April 2015 and this will most probably happen today.

Nevertheless, I'm happy for having reached my 4 $digits monthly quota on SS, so I can't say it was a bad month, maybe only average.

When things are average I prefer to see the half full instead of the half empty  :P
