Is it only me or has this site been running like treacle on and off this past week? I'm finding it to be very slow at times (not all times) across three devices, two wi-fi services and 4G, and where I don't see other sites being any slower than normal, including photo-heavy sites and YouTube videos.

It has been really slow until the past 30 minutes or so - maybe something has been fixed!

I've had a problem getting this to pull up at all, for at least the last 2 days.

Just now, with the same issue, I restarted my computer and then MSG came right up. So I thought it was just me.

But if others are having the same problem, it's obviously not just me.

Hi guys.
Agreed - I found it super slow 2 evenings and off and on the past while.  Not sure what is up - I wonder if it is being visited a lot by spammers.. which uses up all the resources.  I asked the hosting company the other night when I noticed it and got a few suggestions, but will perhaps also send things through cloudflare which will hopefully stop a few of the DDOS 'attacks' as well..

either way - i'll work out a solution

Yeah - that really bugs me too.  I can't figure out how to get rid of that.  I don't see it on Chrome... just when I was using MSG on an android phone did I see it.

I did see it with
Android - I forget which browser...

But thanks for your work in the background. MSG seems to be running at its usual speed today.  :)

Site was slow or even not loadin while Christmas season, thought it was due to many visitors or something.
Still seeing an error while loading page but minor flaw, never really bothered me,
thought that I had to have a bitcoin "wallet" or something to eliminate the "error" :)

I've been seeing that message for at least four months. When I had slower internet, the loading was so slow, I could see all kinds of things, that are gone now. I mean like watching a page load somewhere and seeing all the Google, Amazon, and other sites that are being fed data from places.

By the way, ever since Sue asked and thinks got back to normal, I haven't had a slow day again, but there were a few where the whole site just sat and spun.

All good now.

Very slow here in central Mediterranean as well for more than a week. Comes on and off and performs "TLS handshake" almost forever. Using Firefox on Win 10. It took nearly a minute to see a preview of this post.

It has been very slow, falling to load some pages, and unable to send a post, for some days (weeks?)
Then it seemed that things turned normal but it was just a mirage.
Now again the pages need minutes to load (when they not fail to to it)

Correct, since this morning, I have to click "advanced" and "proceed to unsafe URL" for every single page of the forum.  I'm on Chrome, and I usually have this when entering websites without httpS - but I never have it for every page ...

Not sure if it is an error, glstock link in right leads to wikipedia "link rot" definition.
Direct visiting apears that glstock is still active or at least up.

You are sharp!  :)  https://glstock.com/  is the right link

code here is:  https://www.microstockgroup.com/link/go.php?url=www.glstock.com  which I don't know why it wouldn't work?

About MSG - Still shows this 1010 Guests, 25 Users (1 Hidden) but everything up to speed.

Are the 1010 guests some spam software trying to pound into the forum, or are there actually 1010 people looking at the forum, not logged in. Seems high?

Yes, runs hot and cold. Sometimes fast, minutes later, slow, back to responsive, then changes to slow loading. Something is fudged up.

Here is something i cannot explain. While searching back (called reverse i think) for credits of stock footagefrom old nickname georgep7 i get results and from MSG for georgep7 as "normal"
and  from eg archivebay that stores sites, but also some odd links that finally lead here at this forum e.g

Title= MicrostockGroup | Professional Microstock Forum - Gjerrigknark.com

Url= http://gjerrigknark.com/19568/besok%3For%3D1&ved=2ahUKEwjc_O-6j6HnAhXKUJoKHYxnD6sQFjARegQIARAB&usg=AOvVaw1uE_bRjYdLCwOzQH6JjV5q

Does this redirection(or whatever is called) consume MSG bandwidth?? I remember from older search and other sites reading and replicating MSG content and user posts but i cannot find them any more, sorry.

I was also unable to open the site for a few days. Even the websites which check if a site is on or offline gave me that it was down worldwide.

Searched info on Fakebook but nor the msg page or Tyler pages mentioned anything. It was very strange. Started to think if some agency took legal action to shut msg down...

I'm not sure what the problem was, but a server reset fixed the issue. I could have fixed it earlier but I was away in a place without internet so i didn't know about the issue until I came back :(

I'm not sure what the problem was, but a server reset fixed the issue. I could have fixed it earlier but I was away in a place without internet so i didn't know about the issue until I came back :(

Looked like this.

From some searching (I don't know what this means) "disabling Anti-DDoS protection of LSWS solved the issue."

And from Cloudfair: "your origin server is resetting TCP connections during the SSL handshake, so the handshake fails" but reading the error screnn, that could be a different issue.

Here's one more.  https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003011431-Troubleshooting-Cloudflare-5XX-errors#525error

Error 525: SSL handshake failed

525 errors are often caused by a configuration issue on the origin web server. Error 525 occurs when these two conditions are true:

The SSL handshake fails between Cloudflare and the origin web server, and
Full or Full (Strict) SSL is set in the Overview tab of your Cloudflare SSL/TLS app.

Resolution

Contact your hosting provider to exclude the following common causes at your origin web server:

    No valid SSL certificate installed
Port 443 (or other custom secure port) is not open
    No SNI support
The cipher suites accepted by Cloudflare does not match the cipher suites supported by the origin web server

If 525 errors occur intermittently, review the origin web server error logs to determine the cause. Configure Apache to log mod_ssl errors. Also, nginx includes SSL errors in its standard error log, but may possibly require an increased log level.

If you can get your host to increase the log level, maybe they can see what's happening?
