Hello everyone, just wanted your opinion on what FTP tool to use for uploading. I tend to upload the same set to all sites, so is there a software that will automatically and it to all the sites? i m currently on iStock, dreamstime, 123rf and canstock.
Since I'm mostly doing this as a hobby a freeware would be nice

I use filezilla - it just takes a few seconds to log on and drag the files to the bottom and then I set process queue and walk away. IS doesn't have ftp at least for pics as far as I know. I used to use deepmeta for them, it still seemed to take longer than all the others combined not counting the upload time when I was off doing something else.
There are programs that will do a lot more, but I don't think they are free.

I dont use it, but Stockuploader

if you just want a ftp program use filezilla.
If you want one that caters to stock photography and makes your life much easier and saves you time, use stockuploader

I've been using a program called FTP Voyager for about 15 years. Easy to open multiple windows and has a scheduler add-on. Automatically uploading everything in my upload directory to 8 sites every day at the same time. Happening while I type this.

Thanks everyone, I'll give both stockuplaoder and the ftp programs a shot. Will let you know how it goes

I use stockuploader for Mac - does a decent job. I hope for an updated version soon!

Transmit, Transmit, always Transmit

No need for any third party FTP program on Windows. FTP is built in, use File Explorer, Task Scheduler.

True and there are many more. Here's another one: http://fireftp.net/ (http://fireftp.net/) Free ftp ad-on, for Firefox
I use "ws-ftp pro" and the copy I have is so old, I bought it for Windows 98, so all my sites are in the database and it's perfect as a drag and drop, uploads, does multiple connections.
But Filezilla is fine also. For me, no need to pay for something when it's available free.

On Mac too if you use the Terminal.
