Title: Batch watermark Video files?
Post by: Tror on October 13, 2016, 10:02
Hi Guys,

Anybody knows a good app for batch watermarking Video files (a few thousand).

I know you can do it in AE, Premiere and others but I am NOT looking to software which requires you to process each clip manually or semi-manually or input the output directories etc., it should just batch process a whole folder of clips with a few clips after specification of universal parameters...

Thanks!

Have you tried this kinda proces via Media Encoder?
http://video-stock.org/short-url-watermark-inside-stock-video-gif-animation/ (http://video-stock.org/short-url-watermark-inside-stock-video-gif-animation/)

instead url you could put your text and apply on all files in queue.

Thanks for your answer! Yes, I tried...the problem is I have to manually queue a few thousand files before if I understand the encoder correctly....

Well, I tried it on your behalf. It's easy as putting butter on bread.

Just throw all files in to Queue, CTRL-A, click the "Preset" link and go under Effects submenu like in article. There you can add Image overlay and play with it.

This preset will include same settings on all files in queue if you selected all before clicking preset. After all correct video export settings you need just give it a run.

With Media Encoder you can also just set up a 'watch' folder.

Just drag the files into the folder an Media Encoder will do the rest.

Ok, cool, this might be the solution :-) I will try it later...thanks!

My friend used this one for making watermarked clips for youtube, he said it also good for many other video adjustments but to me it seems old-school programmer's software :)

You can use Symbiostock Video (http://www.symbiostock.org/product/symbiostock-video/) which will do all of it automatically, however the watermarked files will not be of the same quality as the originals and will be optimized for web streaming.

As far as we know, lightroom does it too. You can batch watermark photos.
First turn on the Watermark option and and select Edit Watermarks, the rest is pretty straight forward. Then you can batch export your photos watermarked.

Mov AVI should do it, and maybe Wondershare
