With the newest 32 bit version of Xpiks, when I open the Suggest window to search for keywords, I receive an 'SSL connect error' when I try to use iStock or Shutterstock's search functions. Oddly, it works fine if I select Fotolia. The error doesn't occur in the previous version I was using 1.3.3.

Hello

Yes, it's a known and already fixed problem. Please redownload 32-bit bundle. Thank you

Great app, thank you.
Sometimes it crash but the work done is not lost. Maybe I am stressing the program too much (clicking on buttons before former operation is finished). Anyway, I think that Xpiks saves me 30% of keywording tasks time.

Suggestions:
- In exporting cvs file: possibility to add 'open text' fields. For example when exporting cvs for Pond5 I would like to add 'price', 'country', 'city' etc. (Values: '70', 'Germany', 'Berlin' etc.)
- Full submitting feature, not only ftp

Hi

First of all, ALL crashes should be fixed. Please always report them, send me logs, crash dumps etc. please read more here http://xpiksapp.com/2015/09/03/how-to-report-an-error/

CSV export allows you to add any field to CSV. Just select "Empty" Property and enter whatever "Title" you want. Please keep in mind that only that column in CSV will be created, no values will be written to it, because Xpiks cannot know what should be  there.

Full submission feature is under development, but I cannot give you any specific estimates on that.

Hi

Unfortunately that does not help. First of all, please attach full logfile, part that you have posted does not contain useful information. I need some details what operating system are you using and so on. What would really help is a crash dump if you know how to collect it :)
If you're uncomfortable signing in with Google account, you can send full logs to xpiks at outlook (com) email address. Also you could report issue at GitHub (https://github.com/ribtoks/xpiks/issues)

Looking forward to seeing some details from you, I'm eager to fix all those nasty issues.

Could you put back the copy button to where it was? That being under the three dot menu is not very usefull from my experience.

Hello

"Copy" functionality is in the "More" menu under the keywords. Copying to QuickBuffer from the 3 dots menu is completely different.

Also I would like to state that "Copy" link is shown as soon as you have few keywords to copy. When Keywords are empty or there're only few of them, copying is only available through the menu.

Ribtoks, do you think you could expand on this a bit more?

Ideally what I'd like is to create an Excel sheet with a record of all shots, which I can further mark as submitted, rejected, sold etc. I realize you can't do all of that but the more the better, preferably adding on to an existing spreadsheet?

Anyway, point is, when I ask it to export to CSV it asks for a folder, I give it one... and after it says exported successfully there's nothing in that folder? Nothing at all.

Is there supposed to be a spreadsheet or notepad file or something?

Also, please do consider charging for the software. Just not with any kind of subscription. Nobody likes subscriptions and that's why I moved to Affinity Photo, but yeah you deserve payment for building and maintaining Xpiks :)

Hi. Lets understand what is going on there.

First of all - please check that when exporting you do something along the lines of this CSV export tutorial https://xpiksapp.com/tutorials/howto-export-csv/

Secondly, to understand what's going on, I need to take a look at the logs. Please check it out here https://xpiksapp.com/how-to-report-a-bug/ to understand how to get them and so on.

You see, Biggles, the point of CSV Export is for videographers to overcome limitations of microstocks that cannot read metadata from video, but can read it from attached CSV file. It's not for maintaining list of photos and their statuses. This sounds more like job for Xpiks in general.

Not sure what changed but I just tried again and this time it did indeed export an excel sheet  :o

Ah, so just for video people? I see.

Thanks for the app  ;D

Xpiks just got notarized for macOS Catalina! https://xpiksapp.com/blog/2019/xpiks-notarized-for-macos/

In case anybody couldn't start Xpiks because of "Xpiks can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer", now this is solved and there shouldn't be any issues.

Also there's a new blogpost:  How to upload video to Shutterstock https://xpiksapp.com/blog/2019/how-to-upload-video-shutterstock/

Let me know what do you think

Sent you a link to the previous one in PM.

May I ask you, why would somebody in 2019 still use El Capitan?

Unfortunately it doesn't work anymore, at least on Windows10 x32. Have to use old version. :-\
