Ok, this is my third attempt at getting an answer from somewhere. The other two being StockXpert forum and a support ticket some days ago which was obviously left unanswered, since I'm writing here.
I'll just copy / paste my forum posts:

"Anybody experiencing this? Part of my upload since this morning is in the status "image being generated". All the photos in my batch were reviewed but not these that are... still generating. What's happening?"

"Another batch, the same situation. At the earlier batch the reviewer rejected the photos with the comment "please reupload, there were problems during uploading" or something like this. The problem is NOT in my side, all the other agencies get the files properly and StockXpert used to, with the same settings.

I also filed a support ticket with this problem, 3 days ago - no answer yet.

Steve, or someone from support, please take a look at this."

So... any clues? Anyone?

The thumbnail generation issue happens occasionally, but I don't remember ever they actually failing to appear.

yes, thumbnail not showing up is not usual, there's no need to worry about that.
Also, they were down for maintenance yesterday I think, so maybe this could be related. I would wait for support to contact you. They always get back to me when it resolved , just give them time.

I think there are two issues. Sometimes it takes quite long time for the thumbnails to appear.

However sometimes they do not appear at all even after several days.

It happened to me twice and each time only for few images in a batch. After a while the reviewers marked them 'rejected' saying 'your images were corrupted during upload, please upload them again'. And that's what I did.

I uploaded a batch of 50 today and I had no problems. however, I noticed that it takes a little bit time until the images are generated....

every thing else was fine....

Yea, exactly! That's what happened.

I know about the slow generation of thumbnails, it was always the same and I had no issues with that. Just that with these 2 occassions the photos were really gone. I'm talking about 5-6 or more photos in a batch of let's say 30.

I experienced no problem as far as uploading. However, a moment ago I tried to change my avatar (to this one), but it keeps going back to my old one of me standing in the Romans ruins of Sbeitla, Tunisia. I uploaded a 100 by 100 px and deleted the existing one, but it keeps coming back to the old one. Strange.
Oh well, at least the UL is fine. I think.

opa, just checked, and the new avatar is there. so nothing broken at StockXpert

But my last 20 photos are stacked somewhere on StockXpert for a more than 10 days...

I have all zeros (views) for a long period on my last 20-25 photos!?

I sent mail to the support, they sad that is everything is OK....
