Awesome!  It's been awhile since I checked those stats.

Symbiostock is starting to pick up speed and grow exponentiallly.

I think that it is amazing that it is growing so fast.

This is just a testimony to what a great application Leo created.

Struggling to setup the site but appears there is a white page issue when activate the theme. Leave comment on support thread and hopefully solved soon. Once get around it and the site is up, will upload 2k+ photos to the site. Looking forward to join this big family!

Hooray!!! Mega-congrats all around (but especially to Leo).

Pop the champagne!

And the sales are?
A few of us are doing a few 100 a month, others are seeing smaller sales. Generally its forward moving for everyone.

It is getting faster. At this point its less of my accomplishment as its the product of many peoples/developers time.

Its perfectly possible. Since this thread will get some attention, remember to see the "HELP" tab in Symbiostock which gives you some formulas for succeeding in selling direct if you haven't seen it already.

At this point your sales might be loosely related to how many images you have, but thats microstock thinking. Bulk is not a huge factor. At this point you should focus entirely on quality and purpose. Quality is made up of many factors, and can be judged in many ways. So really its never been more "your game".

Instead of being hampered by thousands of factors in SEO (which Symbiostock handles for you) try to keep this in mind: Now more than ever people are deciding your success. First you, then the customer. There's no middle man. Thats why I really emphasize taking this opportunity to slow down, think, and reinvent yourself.

Good! In 2-3 weeks I'll be ready to set up SYS site and upload 7-10k files.

Are there people with a few hundred sales per month via symbiostock?

Wow, if I manage that, I can quit my job.

Maybe he meant dollars not sales?

cathyslife

I havent seen any new sales being reported in the sales thread...maybe we can can start a monthly sales thread with poll so we all can get an idea of how all of our hard work is paying off?

I would also be interested in knowing if the people who are selling most are those with many network connections as opposed to those of us with only ten. And i would be interested to hear if those who just added the global search to their network saw an increase in sales.

I thought ten was the limit?

I thought it was too but in another thread people were saying they added more. I am not sure how, unless that feature was added for a select few and wasnt distributed generally.  Maybe i misunderstood something. I think it was the thread about adding the global search to our networks. I havent checked my network page recently to see if its possible to add more but i am still at 2.5.5. I thought i downloaded 2.5.6 from leos SY website, but when i install it, the details still say 2.5.5. Cant seem to get any answers.  :(

I took a look at the code.  If I am reading it correctly, it seems that there used to be a limit of 10 network links way back at the beginning of May, but the limit was removed.  So it looks like you can add as many network links as you want, but I believe that every link you add will slow down your website slightly (since it has to connect to the other Symbiostock website and then add the extra images).

the only time it might slow would be during searches, and even then the effect is hardly noticeable at present.  soon we should have a logfile that will keep track of actual search times so we can see what's happening & make adjustments -- eg, it might search for X msec thru as many sites as it can, then give buyer option of searching more
