Good idea to have a separate post for these. I wrote one that used a combination of a plugin to backup the database and some of the files, and a separate service called mover.io to backup all your image files to Google Drive. Different approach to the one above. I'm on Bluehost and all this works fine on that site.

Thanks Mark. Saved my bacon today now that JustHost has thrown a backup wobbly too.

I got this info from someone who works for a web design company. So it should be good. The first backup is quite big, but after that it gets easier.

Thank you for a great tutorial, complete with illustrations.  It was clear and easy to follow. I managed to get my site backed up so now I feel comfortable making changes and moving forward.
