Title: Code freeze?

Hi

I have been giving this back up a lot of thought and my concern was what happens if whilst downloading site, the database changes?
I saw this plugin "code freeze" would this be suitable to freeze the site to allow you to back it up properly.

The actual database backup takes a minute or two at most, and that is where all the changes occur. Other changes to the site only happen when you do something - like add new images, or add a plugin etc.

So my understanding is that for us, nothing is needed to freeze the site
