Hi all,

I am new to WordPress and wondering how safe it is to always update the plugins when notified of new updates available? I am always leery of updates breaking something.

I personally think the risk of not updating is generally more dangerous. That said it is always best to backup your site regularly and especially just before any updates are applied.
