Hi All!  I have been working to set up a clear step-by step guide for those who want to get started with Symbiostock and may be newer to WordPress.  I also thought it might be handy to have a searchable Knowledge base with a lot of the questions that are popping up on the forums for when you need a quick answer.

This site is still very much under construction (please excuse any typos and content shifting around over the next few days) but Leo has shared the link here and there and it appears on the awesome http://www.symbiostock.net so I thought I'd do a formal introduction.

The Getting Started tutorials can be found here: http://www.symbioguides.com/getting-started/

You can search the (tiny but quickly growing) Knowledge base, or browse all categories here: http://www.symbioguides.com/knowledgebase/

I have two video tutorials up so far, I do have a few more recorded that will be added over the next week and I do take requests so let me know if you find anything confusing that could benefit from a real time walk through: http://www.symbioguides.com/section/video-tutorials/

If you wish to suggest articles for the database, submit a change to one other tutorials or request a video please send me a message here, email me at amanda [at] creativembers [dot] com, or feel free to leave a comment on the article in question.

I hope this is helpful for the community and maybe even enticing to those that might still be on the fence to jump in and try Symbiostock!

Amanda that is a brilliant resource, nice clean design too!

Definitely needed with all the info scattered through the forums - much easier to dive in now.

Now if only some of the ex-exclusives were tempted to dive in and give it go ;-)

great job on pulling this all together -- i'll be doing amajor update of my FAQ pages and will include links there.

"officially recommended host for Symbiostock."  - a quibble about 'officially' used in reference to symbio - just 'recommended 'would be fine and the rest of your article shows why

also, i'd leave out the list of not-recommended, since it's not inclusive and no need to badmouth anyone -- promoting the best hosts should be good enough.

Thanks guys!  I'm working on filling in the remaining guides today and after that I'll spend some time combing the previous discussions for questions/issues to list in the knowledge base, which will be an ongoing process.  Also if anyone wants to be listed on the resources page let me know I haven't filled that out completely yet.

Steve, fixed that up thanks for the suggestion!

Excellent job - and something that needs to be done.
It can get very confusing trying to go through all the posts to find the info you need.

Thanks
Steve

Also I appreciate the "branding templates" page with all the image sizes needed. Often these sizes are missed and cause headache  ;D

In all fairness I should note that I didn't design this one (saving all my design skills/time for new Symbiostock themes!) but I invested in a help desk theme that I thought would be great for organizing this stuff.  Glad you like it!

Please Amanda, could you put numbers on videos for me and other dummies...
I don't know what is first, second and third video (I am seeing three for now) in "step by step" procedure!
Anyway, thank you a lot for this....

Cheers Amanda, this is a great website ... I'm sure this will help to grow our network or even make it explode  :)
(Hoping it will help a little to make our seeds blossom, I added a link to your website on my "About"- and "FAQ"-Page.)
