Yesterday I had a meeting with my lawyer. I asked him to check my site for legal problems. What he emphasized was that there should be two check-boxes, one to confirm that the buyer has read the "Privacy Policy", a second to confirm that he read the "End User License Agreement". The "Buy Now"-Button shouldn't be active before the buyer confirmed those two check-boxes. This is at least what law demands in Germany, perhaps in Europe, I'm not sure about that.
Leo, is it possible to implement this in Version 2.0, perhaps as an option, in case not everybody wants to use it.

You mean make it so a button doesn't work unless a checkbox is activated? Easy :D

Privacy policy? I'm only aware that people are putting up their own EULAs. Eventually Symbiostock is going to need its own licensing system for sure. Advice?

Exactly ... I hoped that you you would say that it's easy  :D

He said there should be two check boxes with a text like:
- I have read and agree to the End User License Agreement (with a link to EULA)
- I have read and agree to the Privacy Policy (with a link to Privacy Policy)

And after the buyer checked both boxes he can press the "Buy now"-Button. If he doesn't there should be a text like:

Please read and agree EULA and Privacy Policy before you continue.

Would be really great to have it ... so that I don't have to fear German justice and find sleep in the night  ;D

Quite a few of us are using privacy policies (and cookie permission if we are in the EU) - you may remember I sent you a draft privacy policy when I was drafting the Eula some time ago  :)

I like the idea of having to accept the Eula before purchasing, this is quite normal.  I also add a link to that, the PP and my FAQ's in the email that will be sent out if when anyone buys anything

Leo, do you think you could implement this in the final release of Version 2.0? It would be very helpful for me and probably for other network members from Europe.

on the image edit page, would be handy if it showed the links we can use to display the image or the minipic on another page.
