I am using dragonfly and whilst reasonably happy with it would like to remove the 'Author' box from the right hand side

Failing that / and for future reference I seem to be unable to line up some text

The right hand seems a few pixels lower than the left?

You'll find a lot of help in customizing your site's look in posts on the Symbiostock forums.

My site uses Dragonfly as the child theme, for example, and there's no author box on the front page.

There are also posts in the Symbiostock forum with lots of CSS snippets people have posted that you can use in tailoring the look of your own site

Thanks - I had been admiring your site earlier - very nice!

The author box being out of alignment is using dragonfly 'straight out of the box' (well - download folder). I will eventually find how to remove the author box but thought I might report it in case it can be corrected for others?

I am scratching around between this site and symbiostock site trying to find clues and answers to my (mostly self inflicted) problems and think I am at the overwhelmed stage that others seem to have gone through in that there are is a lot of help in a lot of different places

I completely understand. I went through that once when I first set up the site at the end of August and again more recently when I upgraded to the newest version and switched to Dragonfly (as Clean Theme is no longer being updated).

It does get easier once you know your way around a bit (and perhaps, like a lot of us, you weren't WordPress savvy when you started - the learning curve has lots of components )

Just wanted to be sure you knew about the main Symbiostock forum in case you didn't
