Hi all,

after updating both the main theme and the child today, unfortunately I had to discover that both still feature the bug that on smaller screens (mobile devices like the iPad) the main menu is missing. See http://franky242.net/shop and reduce the size of your browser window: At a certain size the main menu under the logo (about, categories, best of, ...) will disappear.

Since the site is quite difficult to navigate through on these devices/resolutions, a fix would be highly appreciated. Anyone found a fix/workaround?

Thanks, Frank

Havent found a workaround, though I think it's on Leo's plate to fix. I noticed an area in the menu section for mobile navigation and tried entering some text, thinking it would drop a smaller menu somewhere on the page, but I could not get it to work.

Just for add some information. It's a Ipad below. Search field was a bit large and is displayed over my logo.

This is a feature I have not shown u guys yet. This is a responsive theme which excells in layout change and resize. See www.clipartillustrations.com to see what happens when browser width is reduced. Icon bugs will be fixed soon too.you can enable this by placing the mobile menu widget in footer. Surprise. Not a bug but a cool feature.

I just tried that and looked on my ipad. It puts a bullet and the word Home in the footer and thats it. I'm not seeing a cool feature.  :( Maybe I didn't do it right? I'll take a look at your site.

edit: oh yeah, i saw that before and wondered how you did it. That would be cool, but mine looks nothing like that.

Leo,
Can you briefly describe how you made the images show up on bottom as featured and recent?  I have been wondering about that all weekend.

I just took hubby's iPad away from him to test it out and it seems to work just fine!

Here you go http://www.symbiostock.com/free-files/widgets_and_menus.swf

Hi Leo, you are great (I guess we all know that! :-), the mobile menu displays well in smaller resolutions. HOWEVER the menu itself does not seem to work properly, I tried using several browsers (desktop and mobile) and the problem seems to exist everywhere: No matter on which page you are, "home" does not seem to work and menu items with subitems also do not seem to work, for example on your site: Select "The orange man", then on the page select "home" (no action) and then "illustrations" (jumps to top of page the orange man).

I hope I could make myself clear and you can fix? In that case the mobile menu indeed would be a great feature! :-)

Good luck, thanks, Frank

Mobile navigation works for me as well with home (although mine is not called that) categories and sub categories - sub-sub categories do not show up so could not try that all going to the correct destination.   This was using android tablet and phone

Today, sitting down with my coffee and LONG day of Symbiostock bug hunting ahead...I'm going to be disabling the feature under certain conditions.

Leo,

Thanks for the video link on the widget use.  I am amazed that is that easy.
