On the image page, where a customer clicks the radio button for the size image they want to buy, is a button that says Download. I think that should say Add to Cart. If it says Download, I would expect to click that to download the image, but that isn't what happens. Can someone point me to the page where I can change that?

Also, on the Customer License page, the Pay Now button looks like it has a white opacity over it. I looked through CSS but couldnt figure out how to change that. Any ideas?

Never mind...I see that this is intentionally done and changes once you check the I Agree box. All is good.

Thanks in advance.

You can find that in the cart script, which is located in the inc/classes/cart/cart.php if I'm not mistaken.

Do a CTRF (find) look for the download button. Feel free to change it.

Keep in mind however this is a core feature so it will revert once you upgrade.

OK, thanks Leo.

I'm glad Cathy asked that, because I've had the same thought. A buyer doesn't automatically want to download an image "right this minute". Maybe s/he wants to browse a bit more.

So I'll try to do what Leo suggests, but since I'm clueless about changing anything with the letters php in it, I may be back for more assistance.

So there would be no way to change it in the child theme?

Great question, Anita. Maybe Amanda can provide a fix?!

Unless you have to create the exact folder structure to where that file is in the main theme into the child theme folder I'm not sure.  Most of it has been top level in the main theme folder.

But that statement is speculation so don't do it.

I won't do it because I didn't understand it! :-[

inc/classes/cart/cart.php

It is there, where Leo said, in the symbiostock theme folder, line 278.   change 'DOWNLOAD '  etc. to ADD TO CART (or whatever you want to say)
being careful not to delete the spaces or apostrophes.

I changed it in the SY theme folder and it works. I then reverted, and made the change and tried dragging the inc folder to Clean Theme so the file would retain the same folder structure, but it did not work. So if you do it, you will have to do in the SY folder and reload the file after every update, as Leo also said.

Great! That was super helpful, Cathy. You've given me courage to tinker with the php.

Tomorrow.

Stay tuned...  ;)

When a customer clicks a radio button (next to one of the image sizes), it actually adds it to the cart automatically.

The "DOWNLOAD" button doesn't add it to the cart, it actually brings the customer to the cart.

So it might be better to change the text to "REVIEW CART" (or something similar).

But typically a radio button is only to make a choice. I see your point tho. It isnt clear to the user that the choice auto-adds it to the cart, typically you make a choice, then add to cart, then review cart. Then go to checkout.

In view of a conversation yesterday in the Problem with 2.6.4 thread, is it OK that I make this change in cart.php, or is it going to break something else along the way?

This is the only thing I changed:

Quote
inc/classes/cart/cart.php

It is there, where Leo said, in the symbiostock theme folder, line 278.   change 'DOWNLOAD '  etc. to ADD TO CART (or whatever you want to say)
being careful not to delete the spaces or apostrophes.

I will double check the new cart.php file, just to be certain the line 278 hasnt changed to another line.
