I have a question about the user accounts I have in my site. My site is still in limbo right now, waiting for some of my attention. But there has been a lot of action on my site lately and was just wonder if all of these new members are legit. There's not any details in any of the account's information pages and a lot of them are from outlook.com. I'm thinking these are bot accounts and I'm just going to blow them all away. I would like to set up some better membership sign-up process that requires a capcha to keep the bots away. Is there any problem with the Symbiostock theme if I do this?

Also, I found a plugin that I don't remember ever installing. It's called Wordfence. Is this part of the Symbiostock Theme install?

I currently put my site in matainence mode until I have the time to work on it, is this a problem with the Symbiostock scans?

Word fence is a security plugin. Most of us have added some form of captcha plugin. That should stop the flood of fake registrations.

I just have comments turned off and don't worry about fake registrations. ( I hate captchas)

wordfence is a recommended plugin that you probably installed with thee theme - you can deactivate it

what do you mean by 'maintenance mode'?  if you still have the network activated, scans will continue

You can try and Google the email addresses to see if they are legit.
