Mark your calendars! The Veer Marketplace Contributor Site launches on Monday, June 8.
Our development team is working ahead of schedule – and we’re excited to announce that on Monday June 8th, we’ll launch the Veer Marketplace Contributor Site!
After that date, you’ll be able to begin submitting your new work. While these images won’t be available for sale until we launch the complete site in mid-summer, you will able to get a head start uploading using the new FTP capable Veer Marketplace upload platform.
Lots of additional information about Veer Marketplace is now available on the Veer submissions page at http://submissions.veer.com/ including the Veer Marketplace terms of agreement, an FAQ reflecting the Veer Marketplace credit system, subscriptions, pricing and royalty structures as well as the new submission guidelines, so go check it out.
If you have questions you can send them to [email protected], or you can post questions, comments and suggestions to the Veer Marketplace Group on Veer Ideas at http://ideas.veer.com/group/marketplace (http://ideas.veer.com/group/marketplace) (you’ll want to sign-up and join the Marketplace Group if you haven’t already).
Exciting stuff - can't wait for all of you to check out the new system!

Looks alright. I like how subscriptions won't just be 30 cents for all sizes. 20 cents for xsmall is a bit depressing but hopefully there wont be many of them... I couldn't find any information on what the pixel dimensions for each size will be, have you decided on that yet Brian?

Image requirements:
What are the technical requirements for submitting to Veer Marketplace?
Our technical requirements for JPEG photos or illustration:
- minimum pixels = 1200 x 1600 (approximately 4” x 5” at 300 ppi)
- preferred pixels = 1920 x 2560 or larger (the larger the better!)
- maximum file size = 20 megabytes (compressed file size)
- sRGB or Adobe RGB 1998 color profile
- JPEG format saved at highest quality (lowest compression level)
- Balanced highlights and shadows (RGB shadows no lower than 5, highlights should not be higher than 250)
- No interpolations
Minimum payout is $100.00
I didn't see anything about a minimum amount of time that a submitted image had to remain on the site like what DT and BigStock have

Hi Kngkyle -
Great question - we have - the minimums for each size are as follows:
XSmall = 300 x 400
Small = 600 x 800
Medium = 1200 x 1600
Large = 1920 x 2560
XLarge = 2800 x 4200
XXLarge = 3300 x 4900
We'll make sure this info is included in future versions of the FAQ and Submission Guidelines documents.

So, will notifications be sent out to contributers to Snapvillage, as to whether they made the cut, before June 8th?

Yes - you'll hear by mid-May at the latest.
-
Excellent!!! Can't wait to have an email from you ::)
-
you'll hear if you get carried over!
-
It's good to see the different prices for different sizes in subs. I'm not going to be there, unless leaving mi exclusivity at another site, but well, good luck.
-
Brian,
I think your timing couldn't be more perfect.
I have a few questions about the illustration side. Will vectors automatically be generated into jpeg versions available at all sizes? Are there posted guidelines for vector submissions?

Hi whatalife -
Yes.
No need to upload a preview JPEG --- rasterized JPEGs will be created automatically.
There are basic vector guidelines included with the general Marketplace submission guidelines doc here:
http://www.veer.com/download/pdf/vmp_submission_guidelines.pdf (http://www.veer.com/download/pdf/vmp_submission_guidelines.pdf)
The basics:
- .EPS format
- AI8 compatible
- No open paths
- No stray points or objects
- Avoid transparency and other raster effects that aren’t AI8 compatible
- Ensure paste board size is the same size as illustration

Is there a referral program in place for photographers? Can we join right away or we need to wait until June 8th? When will the present members of SV be able to login to veer? Do they need to register separately?

Hi goldenangel -
Good questions. Here are the answers (and a question):
- There won't be a referral program setup right away.
What kind of program would you like to see in place?
- You can create an account on Veer.com now, and begin participating in the Veer Marketplace group on Veer Ideas. You'll be able to start uploading on June 8th.
- All users (new or the contributors selected from migration to Snap) will be able to log-in beginning on June 8th.
- Selected contributors migrated from Snap will be sent account and log-in details around June 8th. If you've already created an account on Veer.com, our team will map your content to the existing Veer.com account. If you haven't created an account - our team will automatically create an account for you.

Brian, veer sounds great except a few things.
1- Do you really believe %35 commission is good for us. Why would you think it would be adequate for us?
Considering that product is coming to you for free, provided by us, and it is an almost zero-risk business why are we not offered %50 (which would be fair)?
2- Would you describe veer as a fair business, getting %65 for content you did not create! We already have low commissions and that needs to be changed.
I honestly think if veer for example steals a single customer from any company who pays me %50, I will be very upset as it will mean a loss for me!
Pay %50 commission as a demonstration of fair trade and get love and support.
You can grow faster if you pay %50 and be more attractive for contributors.
I am sure you will find these questions hard to answer since there is no good answer to them.

Brian,
Are there different types of accounts? Or should I just use my existing account that I've been purchasing with for the past few years? Is there a "user name" function or real names are used for everything? (I've registered accounts at most other stock sites to protect my user name, which is the same as that of my design firm.)
-
Thanks for your answers Brian.
What kind of program would you like to see in place?
There should be a referral program designed for referring new contributors as well as the one for new buyers. A contributor who refers a new contributor could get a certain percentage of sales of this new contributor. This has generally been 10% to 20%. A contributor who attracts a new buyer, could get a percentage of the bought subscription or credits, or a fixed amount at start, like iStockphoto does.
This would motivate contributors to spread the news about Veer as well as to advertise it on their websites through, usually predesigned banners.
-
In the submission guidelines:
Balanced highlights and shadows (RGB shadows no lower than 5, highlights
should not be higher than 250)
I am going to guess that many potential contributors will find that their JPEGS do not exactly fit this criteria. Particularly as there is invariably a shift as one switches from 16 bit to 8 bit in the workflow and then again, potentially, on the final creation of a JPEG.
251, 252 ... 253 even ? Photoshop, Lightroom and Aperture all have a tendency to effectively push or stretch the histogram slightly to the right when converting to JPEG.
This also excludes anything which is isolated on white.
I wonder whether these submission requirements have been copied over from some other document which related to tifs.
-
Does someone already get an email from Snapvillage? :-\
-
If I don't get moved over with my files to veer,I'm not going to bother trying to re apply.

Hi Alias -
Those are suggestions, and not hard rules. Highlights above 250 won't be cause for rejection.
I'll check in with our resident Lightroom expert - you might be right that those figures are mainly relevant for TIFFs, or at least warrants additional explanation.
Good catch - thanks!

Thanks Brian,
Do new contributors, who were not there at SV have to wait for June 8th to register, or we can do it sooner?
Thanks.

I just checked out all the agreements, royalty structure, and submission requirements. It mostly looks really good to me. This is the first new entry into the micro arena that I have been enthusiastic about.
There is a significant fly in the ointment for me though. I see that Veer Marketplace is requiring the model's birth date and age to be on the model releases. No other micro requires this, so as a result I do not have it on any of my releases.
I am not sure why this requirement is necessary. For my minor models I have parental consent on the releases, and for the adults, beyond general age range for categorizing purposes, I don't see how their exact birth date is necessary.
To go back over 5 years and 4500+ lifestyle images of people and track down around seventy models to have them sign new releases is not a realistic option.
Unless you can accept the same releases that everyone else has accepted, without birth date or exact age, I won't be able to submit the majority of my quality work to Veer Marketplace.
I imagine a lot of other contributors will be in the same boat.
-
I agree with Lisa. Exact birth date is no way relevant for a model release form. Some models might consider it as an invasion of privacy too, and rightfully so.
-

Lisa,
Birth date is required on the IS MR __ and has been for as long as I can remember.
-
Well, my release was taken verbatim from a previous version of the IS release and it isn't on there. Nor have I ever received a rejection from them for not having it.
Maybe I will now ;)
ETA: I am glad for people who are using the latest IS release. Apparently you won't have a problem. But for me and anyone else who doesn't have that info on existing releases this will be a non-starter.
Would very much appreciate some clarification on this point from Brian... :-\

Same problem here with the model releases. I'm not going to track down all my models from the past 5 years to have them sign a new release....

Hi folks,
The age of the model is helpful to our customers as it's possible in the Veer CV to search by age, but we won't require it for Veer Marketplace. That's the same model release we use for macro, hence the inclusion of model's birth date. I'll talk to Brian about a revised model release for Veer Marketplace.
Much appreciate your feedback as it helps us tweak and polish things along the way.
By the way, I'll have the updated rate card including Credit Pack and Subscription pricing posted soon to clarify the questions on royalties.
Stay tuned...
Aaron
ps. Brian is on holiday this week but I'll be around for questions and comments.
-
Great. Thank you for a quick response! and thank you Lisa for bringing this up.

Thanks so much Aaron. :)
Big relief. I would hate to miss out on uploading some of my best images because of the birth date thing!
FWIW I just revised my release to include it for future shoots.
Glad Brian's getting some R&R before June 8. I think things will really be hopping then :D

i'll third that , Aaron. i was just about to say. I just finished discussing this to one of my friends who wanted to model for me, and she shied off the idea with a big "WHY?, forget it then!".
this could be difficult for us.
i would say, the age of a minor could be relevant , in order to necessitate the signature of a parent.
but the birthdate are quite taboo, actually. even for contributors, esp, when records are prone to hacking.
please check with Brian and those who make the rules to see if you can get this idea waived.

Not to mention I photograph a lot of middle-agers and seniors and they are pretty tight lipped about their ages ;)

No kidding!!! once in French class many years ago, someone asked the teacher her age and she glared, "Monsieur, you know it's not polite to ask a lady her age once she survives 35 ?"
Furthermore, some people don't look their age, especially certain race groups.
I would think better for a broad category such as:
child / infant
youth
adult
senior
in the sense of what the model is portraying, rather than her/his actual age,
as i've shot some models who easily look a 35 years and then in the next session a 17 year old with the help of a makeover artist.
thus, asking those models actual age would be quite misleading for the buyer's purpose in the search of those images.

I've been a huge fan of Veer's for a long time, primarily because they are the only marketplace to offer typography. Like Lisa, this is the first micro offering I've been excited about in quite some time, and really look forward to being a part of Veer.

Clarification on the model release birth date question.
Veer will continue to include the requirement for the model's birth date on the Veer model release and we strongly prefer model releases to include the model's age, however, we will accept third party model releases (ones from other companies) that don't have the model's birth date or age provide that it states "Model represents that they are age 18 or older".
We need to make sure that the model who signs the release was an adult at the time they signed, otherwise the guardian would need to be signing on behalf of the model.
And of course, providing accurate ages in your metadata is also much appreciated.
Let us know if you have any questions.

I think in some cases, eg. lisafx's models, there is no doubt they are 18 years or older, it should be unnecessary to ask the models' age or stipulate it in the metadata. How many seniors would you be able to ask how old are you exactly, ma'am?
Also, the metadata is to give an idea of what age group the model portrays? It would again be misleading if not redundant to say 36 years, when your model is portraying a younger person. It's not unusual for (a) certain model(s) to be able to look younger/ older by doing a proper makeover.
I think it should only be specific if the model is a child or very young.
-
never mind, message removed, emailed veer directly.

Aaron, thanks for the clarification on the model releases. I am attempting to get new releases from those I can.
For those of children I have their parent's signatures on them. I assume birth date is unnecessary since their parents have already signed for them?
-
Are images showing up at Veer Marketplace for those that have had their Snapvillage portfolios accepted and moved over, or will this not happen until June 8th?
-
yes there are lots of snapvillage images already at Veer.
-
Another thing occurred to me. Is Veer a US based operation and will they also implement the 30% IRS tax on all payouts to non-US contributors? Or will they move to Ireland formally, like SV did?
-

"Other companies", does that included our own generic releases?
To play it safe "they are age 18 or older" is not enough. Some countries have provisions that some 18 year olds can't legally sign releases. I have that clause in my personal generic release.
The Model is not a minor, and does have the legal age or status in his/her country to sign this Agreement and is 18 years of age or older on the Photographs session date(s).
No need for birthday then I guess.
We need to make sure that the model who signs the release was an adult at the time they signed, otherwise the guardian would need to be signing on behalf of the model.
Of course. All releases in microstock, generic or site-supplied take care of that. A minor has to sign a different releases co-signed by the parent/guardian. This has all been settled in microstock for years.
The birth date of the model has no meaning for a buyer if he doesn't know what date the picture was shot. He only needs the assurance that model was in a legal condition to sign himself (major), or he needed a permission at the time of the shoot (minor) from a guardian or parent.
And of course, providing accurate ages in your metadata is also much appreciated.
No way. An image is going to lead its own life with embedded metadata. I don't put name nor birth day in my metadata, just a code for the release form. I don't want my models to be subject to identity theft or harassment since it's easy to obtain a person's data with name and birth date. It's against the model's privacy.
-

From UGCX i think I remember Veer being based out of Calgary, Canada. But it appears they also have local offices in a number of other countries, US and Germany for sure.

I interpreted this to mean: Please don't keyword your 40-year-old MILF as a 20-year-old just because she looks hawt.

I couldn't find them at the beginning but did a search for "champagne" for one of my better selling images and found them. For now I think this is the only way to find if your port has been moved.

You might just be there ;) I don't show up either when I type in my user name, but when I use a keyword combination of mine that usually works to bring up stuff where I know mine will be there..my stuff comes us. Play with some searches.

I have 931 on the Veer site of the 964 I had on SV.

Brian, do you have some initial review due to that I already have over 800 online files on many other agencies or reviewing just portfolio link will be enough for me to upload?
I've read somewhere that new contributors will need 10 initial files...
So, what to do in my case?

Hi Milinz
Even if you have files up on other agencies - you'll still need to submit your 10 "audition" files. If those look good you're approval will be quick. This is an integral part of the sign-up process for new contributor accounts on Veer Marketplace.

Yes. We'll accept photos in JPEG format, or illustrations in JPEG or .EPS vector format.
Your 10 initial submission can be images, illustrations or a mix of both.

Ok!
All clear now... I hope you aren't so picky in terms of 'this or that' as iStock initial reviewers ;-)

Well, I will pick my bestsellers for that initial... Sum is about few thousands USD earned from that initial 10... At least they can't be rejected as NOT STOCK WORTHY ;-)
[EDIT] BTW, only who should be 'picky' are buyers. They know what they need better than me or any agency editor!

Where can I signup for Veer? Just send them a email or what?

yeah, ditto. I believe they will have online registration like regular.
-
Actually, I registered there on Saturday, uploaded 10 photos. This evening, I saw that my contributor application has been approved. So far, they accepted 4 images while 6 images are still pending but I am allowed to submit 100 more.
-
Leaf, will you add a link to Veer on the sidebar? Thanks :)

How is it possible, where is the link, I still do not see it...!?
There is still "Submissions Questionnaire" but this is not contributor application...

It took me a while to find it as well.
You can go to http://contributor.veer.com/ (http://contributor.veer.com/) and click on Register in the upper right corner.

I tried to log in this morning and couldn't. I emailed support, but am still waiting for an answer.

I managed to log in with snap village credentials. I don't know if i forgot my password or if they changed it, but you can just click on 'forgot password' and they will send you it. ... hopefully I'm not jumping the gun here.

Hi all!
Brian,
I've uploaded my initial 10 from 12 EPS files to Veer Marketplace.
It seems some wierd error is appearing in processing part of engine. It simply can't process some files due to 'UNKNOWN ERROR'. All that 'ERROR' files are OK and are selling on other places.
Other what I find a bit unconfortable is Keywording process of EPS files. I'd suggest that with EPS file there to be possible to upload JPG thumbnail with title/description/keywords in IPTC and that will significantly speed-up uploading process.
Very nice option there is Suggested Keywords for Consideration... I've found that VERY HELPFUL and good to have. Still it may be improved with possible other approach in selecting some of that keywords as in JAVA or FLASH environment instead of HTML with using CTRL + CLICK and SHIFT + CLICK to select/unselect suggested keywords.
Well, that would be all for now regarding my expirience with Veer Marketplace... Now, let's see what reviewers have to say about vectors I've uploaded.
Cheers!

Leaf from where are you able to upload? I just did as you said and am able to log into my account on veer.com but it's not letting me go to submissions.veer.com with my username and password. ??
-
yes, i'm uploading my ftp batch right now.
Thanks got it now.
Even filled out the W-8BEN online as well.

then

It might be worth checking the keywords that they've used on the images that have been transferred over, my one's are horrendous I have three shots of an old black telephone, none of them have the word 'phone or telephone' I have numerous shots of signs and you guessed it not one has the keyword 'sign or signpost', plus the list goes on, it also appears that you can't edit them either.
-
yes, i'm uploading my ftp batch right now.

They didn't require an ITIN, EIN or any other number :)
-
I sent my first 10 this morning without any problem...
Maybe now server is too busy...
-
I logged in today, but I had to use password retrieval (the snapvillage password had changed into some gibberish). I also filled out the tax form (why can't this be as easy with shutterstock?)
Is there sales stats somewhere on the site?

Any ideas ?

Does anyone know if the approved application files go directly into your portfolio, or if that is a separate step, as it is on iStock? It's not exactly clear.

I Doubt that it has any workflow similarity as on iStock - It should be on high level of profesionalism than amateurism on iStock... I believe it is one-go through... But, still there may be some catch...

Why is there seemingly so much enthusiasm about joining Veer?
Am I missing something - is it the "Promised Microstockland"?
Are we all going to cash in or what?

If you read carefully, you don't have to put your ITIN or EIN if you are the sole owner of your image and an individual. The process was fast and easy. Why can't this be the same on Shutterstock. IMO, they should fire their legal advisers... lol.
My FTP files are beoing processed atm so I can't tell you how easy or painful the uploading process is but I'll keep in touch.

Well, If you've ever heard for Corbis and you wish to make your eggs in other basket than Gettys... You'd better do something about that.
I have one reason more: Competiton to iStock stupid policy and double standards with some brown-noses kept very high ;-)
-
upload was very painless. (unless disambiguation becomes mandatory or effects image rankings negatively)
They apparently have a disambiguation thing, but when I processed multiple files at once I wasn't given an option to disambiguate anything, so perhaps it is options? Perhaps I will be penalized in search results?
I would also prefer not to disambiguate because their disambiguation is a bit unclear (and makes for more work). for cold, for example they ask
cold as in:
regular cold
cold
well, I was meaning cold as in the weather, but which one do I choose. I am not allowed to choose more than one. Regular cold could be referring cold as in sick, but it isn't really clear.

Thanks for the helpful reply. Is there a reason you think this other than your hatred for istock?
Does anyone actually know for sure? I'd appreciate the input. If nothing else, I'm sure Brian will be by to clarify. I have uploaded my 10 samples, but I can't submit until I know for sure.

Why is there seemingly so much enthusiasm about joining Veer?
Veer has a very established and good brand and they already have customer base (that cannot be said of other startup micro agencies)
What I'm hoping is some sales that would bump my earnings a bit.

That's strange, I thought the email said we are going to get an "invitation and password" on June 8 before we can get into our transferred SV account on Veer marketplace.
???

It's still June 8.

Just finished submitting my first 100 images and like leaf said, the upload process is painless.
For Perseus: I didn't get an email. I registered on Veer maybe a month ago and now I have a Workspace option on my page and that is where you need to go to upload.

Nah here it's almost June 9 ;D
The new Messiah Veer has passed already.

It may just be a perception. But anytime when things are not so cool for contributors , as in now with Getty, it is always good to feed the competitor. And if it is some competitor which has the clout like Getty has, it is the best insurance of protecting your backs.
Veer is an experienced and establish stock company, and so is Corbis. and having an interest in such a "competition" is hedging your bets to success, IN CASE, you get a nasty surprise from Getty.
That's all the reason why diversification in stock (ie. the real stock market) is the best way to protect your investment. And placing your bets with Corbis and Veer is no different. Just wise .

Hi All -
We will be sending out emails to those who have content that was transferred from SnapVillage with links and instructions as well as a temporary password.
This email will go out later today. If you are in this group - do not create a new account today in the meantime. Please wait for the email.
Thanks,
- Brian

Hi Whatalife -
No separate step required.
If your account is approved by our editors, any of the initial 10 that are passed will be part of your portfolio.
As an aside - wow! We haven't sent out official communication on today's news yet, let alone account details or log-in information for those transferred from SnapVillage. You all are motivated - I'm impressed! ;)

I hope I didn't 'wreck' anything by requesting my password through the site before the email came. I can see the images that were transferred from SV and Veer managed to get my address etc. from Snapvillage so it seems to have propagated properly.

NO! You're wrong! I make useful stock images. And how rude that may be on some other people I make money from that images as well as any agency I work with! If we are talking about my philosophy about uploading on MICROSTOCK then you must know that MICROSTOCK = VOLUME ON CHEAP PRICES. So any agency which is too picky about types of images or make their own microstock rules is what I am against. The best of all is that someone on iStock tries to justify last rejection with 'composition' and gave me link to golden cut and 'divine composition' tutorial as I am some newbie who yesterday started to create visuals... Well, mr I do this since 1978 and I am * good in it!
So, YES: Crestock, Vectorstock and iStockphoto proved they are TOO PICKY for my kind of understanding for microstock as well they proved that on that tempo they accepted or rejected my images as well as their RPI, they are not worthy for me to work with them. It is simple as this: If they are picky about your images and don't give you fair chance to make your portfolio big enough then they are not microstock - they are just those who are after your work to fill up their own pockets! So, I don't need such agencies in microstock - I am on some other where picky = over $30 per download. Not to mention that I don't wish to sell all my work for peannuts as well that some agencies simply don't understand that buyers are those who should be picky about what will they buy.
Oh, and yes I have rejections of my images and I live with it as it is something normal if done due frank reasons!

Hello Brian
Can you please explain a problem that i see.
In my account at veer i see that my portfolio add 272 files. Some are photos and some eps. But only the photos appear in the search. In my dashboard if i clic on approved i see that i have a lot of vector that i can´t see the thumbnail and don´t appear at my portfolio. Also they don´t have a description.
Thank´s
Paulo Resende

Brian,
Can we do anything about the awful keywords that Snapvillage added to our images? They are so bad that it is amazing any images were found at all!

Thanks, Brian. I guess my stuff is on hold now then, pending release from iStock. Though it would be really nice to know that my better sellers would be approved at Veer beforehand. ;)
I was able to log on with my regular customer account and access the contributor side from there. Very cool.
Thanks again!

phew, thank goodness. After reading some of the comments here, I thought you forgot to send me my invitation email with the password. But as Perry pointed out, "it's still June 8".
Impatience . So I'll open another can of Guinness and wait patiently, lol...

Veer still needs to fix some errors in their upload procedure. FTP does not recognize my password and I was unable to use FTP.
The web form uploader does not work with Firefox and I had to revert back to IE. Then, after spending a frustrating day trying to upload my 10 images I discovered that the upload system will not upload images where I have used Irfanview to add the IPTC data. After upload during the "processing" stage the system just return an error (Unknown error). I had to edit all my images using PixVue to re-enter all my keywords and after this the files uploaded with no problems.
My biggest disappointment came when I browsed through the site and discover the only two payment options currently offered are PayPal and Payoneer. No Moneybookers? This was the reason I deleted all my images on SV. I could not get payment of my earning. Seems to be SV all over again. I hope this is just temporary or I will have to delete my mages once again. ???
-
Has anybody who's images were transferred in from SV had their account log-in information sent to them yet?
Yes,
I got it this morning and when I signed in had to fill out a couple of forms like a w-4, agreements for contributions as well as transfer of images from SV to Veer etc.. and change your default password.. I am able to log into FTP, but all my uploads fail so far, like their server might be overloaded with ftping or something.. Also you need to ftp with explicit tls/ssl not regular ftp..
-
You are talking about taxes here...
What is about tax witholding for non-resident aliens on Veer...!?
I am totally confused...
Can somebody explain please or/and give some links here!?
-
Well today I am disappointed with Veer. I cannot get the FTP to work, I cannot upload with the browser uploader, and the site is horrendously slow.
Ah well, I hope they can fix it soon.
It would have been nice if it had been tested first. Why do we always get to be the guinea pigs?
-
I'm sorry to hear that some of you are having difficulties. I have to say I am very impressed with Veer, everything so far has gone silky smooth. No problems with uploading via HTTP on Firefox. There are bound to be a few teething problems, I would expect a lot of server activity today.

As part of signing up to Veer you have to complete a W8BEN, this is provided for you as an online form during your sign up. Everything is explained when you get there.

Sorry to hear you have problems. All went well and fast for me with FTP. I'm using the last version of Cyberduck and everything was smooth. Did you double check your username and password?

I could be wrong, but I think Brian said that if you were initially rejected based on your SV portfolio, that you should wait until today and go through the initial application process.

The FTP does work, I have been using it all afternoon. I am using Filezilla.
Put in the same credentials you used to log into Veer in the user and password boxed BUT.. the problem I had for a while, make sure on Server Type select FTP over SSL (Explicit Encription)

Yes.
Hello Karin.
Your next step is to agree to the terms of use, and to provide your tax information.
Make sure you are logged into your account, then click this link to continue:

The form then asked me to change my password, so I did to a more secure password, and now I can't login. :( Probably have to wait until the system catches up.

I was never on SV, and I also filled a for a couple of weeks ago, which did not get answered at all. However, on Saturday, I registered (the link is in my previous post) and uploaded 10 pictures and my application was approved the next day (yesterday). I have already FTPed quite a few pictures after that.
-
Had also never been on SV and filled out Veer application several weeks ago. Early this morning successfully uploaded the initial 10 via the browser and the images are now pending review.

Help!
I am trying to upload with Filezilla. It accepts my password,I have it set to FTp over SSL encryption, but I get the error:
Error: Transfer channel can't be opened. Reason: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.
Error: Could not retrieve directory listing
Does anyone know what this means? Is it blocked at their end?
-
If you don't find your email from Veer for your password, check your junk mail. I found mine there.
I think I'll wait till tomorrow to activate as I am sure the traffic is impossible today.
No hurry for me, as I am spending the time to prepare new images to upload to Veer.
So once again, CHECK YOUR BULK MAIL OR JUNK MAIL if you are supposed to get an email but did not.
