Hehe what about that thread I've read somewhere to support smaller stock sites and hoping (for the best ) that some day they will be competition for bigger players?

I have no problem regarding that, I have more than 1k pictures at YAY, they aren't going well but maybe it's just me

Nah, I guess it's just everyone. Pity because for me Yay is most usable and user friendly stock I've ever seen. At least from submitter's point of view.

Looks like their website is down.  Was up late yesterday but right now I am getting a 500 error message.

Didn't there used to be a thread that was supposed to be the main one for YAY communications? The one that was supposed to take the place of their forum? I can't seem to find it now. Can someone point me to it. I've sent messages to YAY but am not getting a response from them. Curious as to whether anyone has seen third-party results from the 3rd qtr yet. 4th qtr will be over soon and still nothing from end of September. Thanks.

Nothing here yet Carolyn, though Linda did post that they hoped to have them before Christmas. Regarding a Yay thread - I don't think there is any particular one that they respond to. If you don't already know you can find all Yay threads by clicking on "forum" at the top left of this page. Then scan down to New sites/low earners and you'll find a Yay category which has all related threads on it. Here is one example http://www.microstockgroup.com/yaymicro/third-party-sales/. Thanks David and Warren for your responses. David, I did find the YAY listing after I posted and was able to read through a few things. Guess I'll just hang loose like everyone else. Just seems unusual for them to not at least post some kind of update. But could be Christmas is slowing things down with people taking off. Found the answer to your problem. They closed my account instead. That's the only answer I can come up with why I had zero ($0) sales at Yay in 2010.

Really?  The only answer?  Couldn't be because your images suck almost as much as mine?

Yeah, I know you're being funny.  Nice to know I'm not the only one who can't get a single sale at Yay.  Quite ironically named, wouldn't you say?

It looks like something is wrong with uploading, I got the same internal error. Also the approval process is slower than normal, and a few elements on the website are buggy. But I've got three sales this week, so if there is something wrong with the search/buying, that happened today.

I discovered the way to eliminate all problems with Yay. I just emailed a request to cancel my account and remove my images from the search engine. I also asked them to send me any accrued commissions. What do you think the chances of that happening?

Does "Slim and Non" sound familiar!
