From DT forum:

Quote
Starting today buyers can download an upsized format for the images that don't have the maximum size already uploaded by the photographer. This option appears only for files below Extralarge. If your image is 3MP our software will automatically upsize it and create two more versions. If you only have Medium for some of your files, we will create automatically the Large an Extralarge versions. If you have the Large already, we will create the Extralarge one.

We realize that many buyers can do the upsize on their own, however there may be others who will find it useful. Contributors are kindly asked, as ever before, to NOT upsize their images before uploading, especially for the low size files. We believe our tools do a very good job in providing a good quality.

XL (8MPix) from 3MPix?  How daring!  And to think that sometimes they have rejected an image because it wasn't sharp.

Regards,
Adelaide

Another improvement that should increase earnings. DT is on the ball.

Uh-oh, there's a glitch.  Many upsized photos have a download button instead of a 'buy credits' button and it looks like they can be downloaded without paying.  I checked a couple other ports and it's not just mine.  It doesn't occur on all the files, mostly the older ones.

I find it very correct of DT that they clearly state the image is upsized.  Good work imho (although I would never buy such an image myself)

Maybe!

But my earnings on DT are very poor this month...

What's with the sale of pictures for postcards and print...!?

Hmm, I don't see the larger versions.  I logged out to see this (I still have that old one credit, so I don't see the current prices...), but found my images only at the original sizes.

Which reminds me. We still have a bunch of credits to use up at DT.

Sounds like a good service for buyers that want larger sizes and don't object to uprezzed.

Good to see DT responding to buyers needs and being up front about how they are doing it :)
