So true. I sold this one http://www.bigstockphoto.com/image-63808306/ as an EL on Bigstock, for example.

A long time with no sales then a few. A long time with no sales then a few. A long time with no sales then a few. That's the pattern. Awful place despite uploading new content all the while.

Also..... I hate to say the thing they have about deleting Images is the best Move in all Of Microstock and I wish SS and the others did it.

but then there's this

http://forums.submit.shutterstock.com/topic/88521-dont-delete-anything/

Then it would be a Moot Point if sites did it. I wouldn't do it myself. But if all sites did it as standard. Im There.

I was able to request payments every month, for the past 10 months. I'll also get paid this month.
This is OK. I don't expect more from DT.

I've gotten five times more sales during the same time period on ss than on dt. Their review times have gotten considerably longer too.

Only five times? So your sales on DT are good.
Or your sales on Shutterstock are so bad?

This month I have already 400 times more sales on Shutterstock than on Dreamstime

I have just double earnings on SS as DT.    It's not like the old days but still ok.

DT is way way down on my list despite having one of my biggest ports. People told me that it took time for DT to start paying off. Even after all these its still not happened

Why it should take time??? It is microstock. Photos can be sold directly from the first second images are online. I dont get for what they need the time.

Because the way their search engine works new images don't do well.

Just starting out, I have around a hundred images on both sites. The difference is still pretty significant.

I really don't understand how works DT
Almost no sales from the beginning of the month, and suddenly, today, 22 sales from $0.35 to $3.84  :o

Bof

My ratio is about 5:1 but SS has never been as far ahead for me as many. According to the poll next door it "should" be around 7:1

DT still works for me including some 5-6 $ commissions.

I just wish they didn't need 2 weeks to accept an image.

So whats hapenning with DT. I haven't had a single sale for over a month now. Not that I was making some serious money before, but I had regular sales. Mostly credits and also some subs. But now not a single sale from May 9th. This is just weird.

They changed the search so that the default search is Best Selling instead of Most Relevant.  Some people do better from it some people do worse. Mostly the older contributors are doing better than the newer ones as they have more proven images.

DT has completely died for me also, I just sent in my 30 days notice to cancel exclusivity. I went from 20-40 sales per month, making $20-$30 (part time contributor) to just 10 in the last 30 days, total revenue, $10 approx.

I'm not blaming DT, they have to do what's best for their business. My reason for going exclusive is that I was a n00b and contributing to stock is just a side project, something I do in my spare time. I signed up to multiple agencies then decided that it was too much hassle to maintain multiple portfolios. DT's exclusive package looked to be the best and I also had my first sale on the site compared to none on the others.
I'll be having a little more time on my hands going forward as I'm returning to college to study full time in August, so I can spend more time uploading and maintaining ports

I'm stuck at around $76. I need about $25 for my first ever payout. Maybe in 2017 at this rate.

And for me its 123rf.

The decline started in May and continues well into June.
One sale this month with 2000 images. :( Dreamstime
has continued "steady as she goes". Nothing earth
shattering but normal sales which suits me fine.

June is really good month for me on 123rf, already twice as my average, I had 2 5$+ LELs and then 1 sale for 11$+ + one for 3$+ and some other sales...
