All images that were rejected after being accepted are illustrations. They all are being accepted way faster than photos. Like maybe in 1 hour. After that some of the illustrations goes directly to rejected section. Makes me wonder why they would ever consider to accept images very fast so they could simply check them later and reject.

Could have been a glitch showing them accepted.

What were the illustrations?

Nah, many of these illustrations are still accepted and online. They were edited photos to look close to anime style.

To bad the OP left. I just wanted to stir the DT rejection comments a little.

"Your image might not be suitable as a stock image because of one or more of the following reasons:

We have reviewed your file and this is not quite what we're looking for. Please note that this image is not eligible for resubmission.

Image is not RF stock oriented or its sales potential is too low at this stage. Please note that Stock photography is a commercial type of imagery, so, snapshots are not Stock. It is also very important to understand that Art and Stock are two fundamentally different categories of imagery, that only meet when an artwork can adapt to a wide range of commercial usage.

Lack of concept.

This event is too old and no longer presents interest in the editorial section."

It wasn't editorial, I have no idea why they included that. But unlike the vague "low commercial value" that other might use for a rejection, DT doesn't mince words. Lack of concept.  ;) In my mind, they don't understand the concept. But either way, one rejection this year and I think I had one last year. I'll keep feeding them.

I was hoping to see what happened to accepted, then rejected, then showing as accepted and online. What's the final on that? Was the rejected message and error and they were accepted?  ???

Hmmmm...I uploaded 11 illustrations today that were immediately accepted. Guess I'll have to go back later and see if they move to a different pile. Haven't uploaded to DT in ages and ages, so I was impressed by the fast acceptance. Will report back if things change.

I just did a three-word search (Pi Day STEM) and ticked Illustrations and they all showed up. So I guess they are accepted. They've been sitting around on my hard drive for a few years and I kept forgetting to upload them in time. Probably a little late this year but I figured I didn't want to wait until 2023.
