Hello,
concerning keywording, is there a way to add single keyword composed of two words (e.g. "new york")

For instance I add the keyword "new york" on the dreamstime web page and there the keyword is splitted in two different keywords "new" and "york". How to avoid the undesired splitting?

When I was with them there was no way of avoiding this. Seems like nothing has changed.

Amazing 2 Months ago same thing......I get down to a Payment $99.25 and then Boom Im back to $95.00. Like they Just don't wanna pay Us. I have asked them Over the years to "PLEASE" drop the Payout to $50.00 Instead of a 100. I Hate stuff Like this More than anyone Knows. I wish I would have Listened to My Own advice and Got out of Micro stock in 2016ish. still Hanging On to 4 Sites..

These days it takes me a year to earn $100 on DT

That's just about the situation for me, too. I don't upload much there any more, but even when I do my pics languish unsubmitted until I find an odd hour or two, usually while watching the evening news, to get them processed.

Hardly worth the bother at DT.

I've been with them since 2009 and never really noticed that before until yesterday when, oddly enough, I was uploading some images from New Mexico (apparently a very popular place).  I was surprised at how short my keyword list was until I figured out it had broken the multiword ones and deleted the duplicates.  Actually now that I think about it I have noticed that before it just didn't stick.

It was my first time to upload anything in about a year and I was impressed with their AI category guesser - can use those rather than having to waste time picking categories which makes submitting much faster.  So that's an improvement at least.

Nice and just to your West is #6 Arizona with some more beautiful scenery and open space. But 5 million more retired people?  You have a nice location.

I think Alamy reads keywords like that too. You can add phrases, but all the words are seen as singles as well?

I have scads of pics from New Mexico. But there's no way to indicate that's actually where they're from.

Except for the title and description. The only way really.

I had been there a few times before, either for a conference or just driving through, but never really got to look around.  Last October we went for a week.  We spent 5 nights in Santa Fe and two in Albuquerque, were busy the whole time, and hardly scratched the surface of what to see and do.  We will definitely go back - just like you said, tons of things to see and do, multiple cultures, plenty of wildlife and natural areas and the food was great.  Still have never been to the southern part of the state.  The only drawback is the high elevation makes it a little chilly - we got snowed on in October, although it wasn't too bad.  We're going to Tucson later this month - had to find a place at a lower elevation where it wouldn't be quite so cold.  But New Mexico is definitely a good time.

Glad you spent some time here! Santa Fe and its historic, cultural, culinary, and natural attractions are like an onion, you can peel and peel and peel and still have more more layers to peel.

For your next trip� southern NM is beautiful, with the Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks Nat. Mon, White Sands (now a brand-new national park), and the wild Gila Mts in the SW. The only area that's not much is the SE corner, which is mostly an extension of Texas' oil patch. And of course, all of it is hot in summer. That's when you want to head north.

Northern NM is very mountainous, with real winter, as you discovered. My husband and I just spent 2 weeks in southern AZ to get away from it. But August is our favorite month here� the time we always make it a point to stay home.

We have southern New Mexico on the list for future travel for sure. 

The vibe in NM reminded me of Hawaii or parts of Australia - most people were very mellow and friendly.  It was like all the hippies from the 60s who didn't sell out went to New Mexico and lived the life.  We liked the Santa Fe farmer's market, and one of the Santa Fe brewpubs has a smoked green chili beer that was perfect.  We'll definitely be back.

Southern New Mexico has some very photogenic state parks, too.

And yes, it's mellow in the extreme around here. The official "state question" is: Red or Green? And the official "state motto" is: Carpe ma�ana. 

Pete, let me know when you're heading this way. 'Twould be a hoot to meet you after all these years.

And BTW, there are no mosquitoes around these parts. As my sister-in-law, who grew up and still lives in Boston, says whenever she comes to visit and we watch the sunsets from our patio: "Can't believe there are no bugs!"
