I'm so happy and excited that I have to share this with someone! 6 months after I started doing video and when I was veeeery close to give everything up, I finally had a video sale on Pond5! 30 dollars!

God, this really compensates for the bad picture sales on Shutterstock and my overall crappy week. It's my biggest single sale ever and feels so good to get from one sale half of the money that I usually make in a whole month.

Btw, do Pond5 do refunds? Cause I'd die if I see those money disappear

Congrats on the license!

Pond5 doesn't report sales in real time. There usually seems to be a day or two delay on reporting which I think tends to eliminate refunds for things like someone downloading the wrong clip, etc. In many years I've never had a refund from Pond5. Pond5's one of the good guys. Enjoy your sale!

I am also trying to do videos, but so far no luck with sales, anyway I still hope that one day maybe they will came.

congrats. Pond5 is generally my best video site.. probably most peoples top site. Awfully nice with those larger sales isn't it!

Congratulations. I have plenty of video sales from Pond5, but have never gotten a photo sale. I definitely like them for video. They are on a short list of companies I still contribute to, because they treat contributors well.
