Is everybody suffering slow sales or is it just me?  I was starting to get really pumped in March and April.  Now, I bounce from site to site hoping to see a sale.  What happened?   ??? :'(

Not just you Warren.  My sales are terrible too.

Some sites are better than others.  Istock is the worst for me.  Since they are my top selling site a big drop like this hurts my monthly income a lot.  Can't believe how bad sales are there.   They have even stopped locking sales related threads and are outright deleting them.

Will be interesting to read the end-of-month threads.

Sales are average for me but I thought they would be higher. July has a lot of national holidays though (Canada, USA and France at least) and many people are taking their summer break off work in July up here in Canada. I can't really compare to last year since I just turned exclusive.

WarrenPrice (Mr.)

You and I probably have approximately the same number of files so comparison might be more helpful.  I am down ~ 30% across the 15 sites I contribute (compared to the last 3 months) . . . .  so yes, it is going to be a hard month. I say save your powder for the fall.

After April & June I expected sales to be in the doldrums for the rest of the summer __ which they most definitely are. I just hope the situation improves a lot come September/October!

my sales in toilet as well...
as a designer, I've had 2 clients this week postpone their web site projects until Sept and Nov...not a promising sign.

If you are in the US, looks like Unemployment Benefits will be extended.  Not sure the unemployed will be buying pictures but maybe photographers can get subsidized.    :P ;D

PS:  looks like I got a deal working at Cutcaster.  You never know where the next buck will be.   :o

Well, this is good to know.   Maybe other clients are doing the same.

Did they give a reason for waiting?

Sales are holding up.  Quite a few first time sales for new material, although they don't seem to be picking up steam and continuing downloads, if you know what I mean.

Right now I get excited over a .30 sub sale on Dreamstime. Now that's pretty bad.

I've been doing a rather obsessive site bouncing for the past few days. Just like Warren.
My results are really sad.
All I get is the odd 0.25 cent download at SS.
Good luck Warren with your deal :)

Strangely enough, my design business has been booming. Perhaps it's the fact that my pricing is so much lower than comparable firms in my area. I'm glad that stock isn't my full-time job right about now!

Things are a little slower than last month for me, but it still looks like I'll end up doing a little better than May this month (Dreamstime only).   Last year I was feeling the same way in June and July, but by October my revenue was double what it had been in March - hope that repeats!
