June was a bit better than June last year (which was my worst month of the Year in 2012). On the other hand, it it was worse than May - just about 75% of May's earnings.
SS : 49%
FT : 27%
DT: 16%
123rf:  7%

Loosing more and more faith in 123rf - worst RPI, worst RPD - and falling.

SS the only one that sales for me. IS, DP, FT - 0

How is the Stocksy doin? Never saw sales numbers. I still hope they do well :)

Quite surprised by June. Thought it wasn't going to be too great to begin with, but a few decent sales here and there made all the difference, to make it a BME for me.

THE GOOD
DT - Almost a BME
123 - Almost a BME
DP - BME
FT - BME
PD - BME
FAA - BME by far
P5 - BME
BS - Almost a BME

THE NOT SO GOOD
SS - Down a bit (2 months in a row they have dropped down a bit for me)
ALAMY - Worst Month in a long time
YAY - On a very dry streak there
GL - Terrible

BUT BY FAR THE BEST
thpstockphotos.com - BME! (well, first sale - $11 early in the month) :)

Down 28% compared to May, and 8% compared to June 2012. Four best: Zazzle, Shutterstock, DepositPhotos, Dreamstime

Really bad month Dollarwise.  Down 5% from May, and down 18% from last year.

What is really so very frustrating is that my actual download NUMBERS are UP from last year at most agencies, but because of their dropping prices and/or royalties, earnings are way down.

This tells me that, in my case at least, it is not competition, quality of content, or frequency of uploading that is at fault. The fault lies squarely with the agencies who are shafting us.  Really extremely discouraging.

Bad month :  15% down compared to June 2012.  Weird thing is that most agencies went up a bit, but Fotolia and Istock went down so much, that the others couldn't make up for the loss.  SS went up 4%, but that's only because of a few EL's :   SOD's and downloads went down more than 10%.

Similar experience to Lisa, my download figures are significantly up on previous years but my dollar income is way down on last year and the year before - the result of the unfortunate fact that more downloads are now happening at SS and with a much lower RPD than at other agencies the future doesn't look rosy if this is to continue  :(

june started out as a bad month for me - at week 3 it was headed for worst in over a year - then the last week had ELs at 3 different sites  which gave me 3rd BME and 2nd BME at SS

meanwhile in its first month my symbiostock site beat istock, big, alamy, photodune, most, yay, dp and gl

iStock looking very poor for photo sales - just calculated that my RPI for photos at IS during June 13 was 0.16 compared to Shutterstock RPI 0.70. My 50 exclusive audio files at IS made more than the 1340 non-exclusive photos files! Decided I am no longer uploading photos to IS, may as well concentrate on the audio side now.

Just added up my totals. I was driving across the country before this. June was a lousy month my worst month since April 2011. SS had the lowest total number of downloads since dec 2010. A few EL and SOD etc. sales kept the $ total from being super dire. Alamy was almost nothing. DT was ok, but in general all of the sites were either average or below average and not surprisingly the total was well below average. Hopefully this is not a permanent trend, but since SS killed my best seller I am not feeling very optimistic right now.

Lousy month.. sales down almost 8% from June last year with about 800 or so images added in year.  One doesn't need a crystal bowl anymore to see where microstock is headed .. (hoping to be wrong - the perennial optimist!

down about 15% - or $400 bucks. That's estimating pp at $200.  Doubt I will make up jack with PP......if we ever see it:)

Had  a  $3plus  sale  from  DT  but  rest  were  subs.  123RF  had  most  sales  but  like  i  said  mostly  subs.  Very  small  ports  -  very  little  money.  I'm  satisfied  trying  to  build up  my  ports  (all  those  rejections   >:().

Not so long ago I was finding it near impossible to get a file into my Istock library. Now I hardly get a rejection.

Yeah, but in the Good Old Days, new files got their day in the sun in the Best Match and had a chance of getting sales.
Now files sink like stones in the best match within a day or two, and anyway, the default search, while still saying best match could be showing 'downloads' (usually) or 'age' (occasionally), and you I can't change it to best match without going via another sort. So e.g. I search. I get a result and it says at the top 'Best Match' which should be the default. It's not a best match search, but refreshing doesn't fix it, I have to work out which sort it actually is (usually downloads) then choose a different sort (e.g. age or contributor) then choose 'Best Match'.

The fault lies squarely with the agencies who are shafting us.

If I could give one heart a day for the next month, you would get 30!

June 2013 down $  by 20% compared to June 2012.  All iStock
June 2012 however had some nice ELs without which it would be about even.

I've finally managed to put the time into creating my graphs and commentary on my blog. Amazing how it doesn't seem important to do that when it is a poor month! Anyway, the main graphs are there now.

Here is a taster!
