I thought it would be useful to have a thread where we can report files with potential copyright issues or extremely gruesome bad details

Adobe has a specialized reporting discord, but that channel is invite only, unlike the normal Adobe discord. Here everyone can hunt down files and point them out

. Not just for Adobe.

Agency staff can then look at this thread and pass it on if they feel it needs to be removed or changed.

Perry Rhodan is an extremely popular German language science fiction series and here just as popular as Star Trek or Star Wars. It has been running since 1961 and their cover art is very well known.

The image actually has Perry Rhodan in the title and the image design is clearly inspired by the work of Jonny Bruck, their famous illustrator.

We don‘t know the volume of copyrighted content Adobe is getting. Maybe they caught the other 200 000 iron man or iphone images and these are just the results of very tired reviewers.

But I am a little surprised about all those that are tagged with copyrighted keywords. I thought there would be an automatic alarm to decline these.

I didn‘t know we could do illustrative editorial with ai…it seems counterintuitive.

Other than title, it isn't marked anywhere as illustrative editorial. Editorial images have below image: "Restriction: Editorial use only". But yeah, it is weird that copyrighted images suddenly are not a problem with AI, while photos review is much more strict.

Based on what I'm seeing, Adobe has no interest in weeding out IP problems with the AI collection. There was one image in the "Relevant" sort order, top half of first page, with boxes and the amazon prime logo. That image was no longer available (which begs the question as to why they can't update the search faster), but a whole pile (28 right now) of other images with the logo were still available from the same contributor's portfolio (link removed now the images have been removed).

Whoever removed the one image didn't think to look and see if there were more???

And apple logos are still coming through in new approvals - they are just not bothering. If they can't even shut off the problem with new approvals, why waste our time helping them clean things up in the existing 12+ million?

Edited to add that all 28 of those boxes have been "disappeared".

Edited July 19 to add three prime logos I happened upon while looking for something else - the keyword prime was used (also on other delivery vehicles without a visible logo)

If anything, posting here and making the problem visible will help to keep somebody on their job.

These problems should be open and transparent, otherwise the issue will not be solved.

And I doubt they are not seriously working to combat this. They probably caught 95% of the problems and what we are seeing is what just slipped through.

There must be a way to program an ai to help them find the problems.

At least flag the words in titles and keywords for easy deletion.

ai is also bringing in new producers who have no idea how stock agencies work. They will learn, but it takes time.

Actually IT IS ALLOWED. Only thing that is protected / treated as IP with smartphones is circle button on earlier iphone models.

I was told I have to remove all design elements on photos. All buttons, but especially the notch, also speaker elements on all tablets or smartphones.

Just a generic screen.

I would get my files declined if any of that was visible in a photo.

I am surprised that Apple does not protect the visual design of their phones.

?? i have international buyers as an amazon seller & can set up separate amazon accts to sell directly in CA, UK, etc markets

The apple logo is so easy to spot, sad.

fwiw today I had an ai image declined, the rest accepted..looked at the file again...the reviewer was right!

It is an easy to fix problem and I resubmitted.

So somebody is clearly working as intended.

So....when you make a mistake by "creating" Ai "work" and not see logo (or whatever mistake) in YOUR OWN file and you even didn't see it while submitting is just a mistake but when reviewer make a mistake it is clearly intended ?

I am pointing out that clearly there is a real human review process and it is not done by ai as many suggest.

And no, I didn‘t miss a clearly visible logo…it was a very subtle problem. It also did not exist on the rest of the batch.
