Happy New Year to everyone, and I hope 2014 will bring a happy and profitable year for all of us!

On that note, I am still relatively new to this and was wondering how long this holiday slump lasts. I was averaging around 150 sales per day on SS before Christmas and now that number has dropped to 50! Yikes. Was this how it was Dec.-Jan. of last year as well?

I expect sales to get closer to normal levels on Monday. Some people took the whole week off, so while today is already an improvement over the 1st, we're not at full strength yet.

I would bet on the first Monday January 6th. I assume you have mostly illustrations on shutter with daily sales of 150?

All my images are of people. I'm not talented or experienced enough to do illustrations

Oops, I meant 130 maximum per day. So around 100-130 on weekdays and 30-50 on weekends with a portfolio of 5100 images. Will link up once I hit around 10000 images. Nothing in it is really spectacular or inspiring. Many people in this forum put our work to shame.

How do you consider yourself new with a 5100 port? Or did you upload it all in the last few months? Some work rate

Well, I work close to 90-100 hours a week for the past 6 months, but I'm not alone...I have a business partner and family helping out. I think your work is outstanding Ron and if I had 5100 images of your caliber, I would be pretty wealthy

Thanks for the compliment, although my sales arent that good. And it has been made very clear to me its all snapshots. But I appreciate the comment nonetheless. But you have put in a lot of hours and work, so I guess you deserve the return as well. When you hit 10k, show us your work

Agree 100% if I was getting 200 a day and only been around since july 2013. I wouldn't even show my face, let alone my Port.
