I noticed in the last week with Shutterstock my sales per day have slumped from 30%-50% for no reason that I can figure out. Also on Friday it seemed as if the server was down half the day. Anyone experiencing something similar? is March a slow month? I have been watching my sales daily since I joined SS and month after month there has been a steady increase in sales so for this to happen seems strange to me.

No unusual observations (Berlin, Germany).

How many years have you been with Shutter? If only 13 months this isn't enough to really analyze your data- just keep uploading good commercial images and not worry too much- is my best advice to you....

Also depends on how many sales are typical for you. If you're seeing 10 sales a day, a 30% swing one way or the other isn't really significant, even over the course of a week or more.

Hi All,

I have seen a serious drop in my sales at SS I have not uploaded anything in 6 years but it has been a very drastic drop over the past few months. I was always getting monthly returns that were 1K or larger and over the past few months that return has dropped to an average of $600 a month. Six years with the images always selling well and now big shift. I am sure it is a change up in their algorithm or something of the sort but I just wanted to add to the conversation that there has been a big shift for our work as well. At the same time Istock has turned around and is showing stronger sales than they have in years. One up and another down makes the average very...average :)

Yes some of us are seeing sharp downturns and the sales patterns have become erratic with lots of bugs popping up.
