Most of my shots are 21 mpix+ (taken with 5D2, 1Ds2/3, D3x), but I never noticed having better search placement over smaller sized images (taken with older cams, mostly with APS-C sensors). Or downsized images for that matter (I have quite a few, because of Sigma's 50 1.4 focusing inconsistency).

Anybody knows how important the size/resolution/MP are for the placement in the Best Match of the various sites? Which sites have a best match anyway?

And: do you think that the resolution influences a Inspectors decision more than the composition and quality of a shot?

Don't know, but that's a good couple of questions.

It would benefit the sites to have larger files come up first in best match because they cost more. (this doesn't matter on SS)

We don't know if there's a secret rating from inspectors on IS, but after seeing that fuzzy, self-inspected shot,#5 on page one, that vanished, I'm wondering?

I'd not sure the resolution would work out because of the problems with photos and vectors and raster art?

But one thing I'm positive of. I don't know.
