Hello!
My name is Alex, I sell music on Motion Array. I can not understand why my portfolio is increasing, and the profit decreases. Since I made a sale, I sell 5 less! My portfolio has increased to 3. There are no statistics on the site. The price of a single download is ridiculous. Here in Russia music with motion array can be downloaded on torrents. Protect music in Adrev impossible, this is the condition of Erie.
Last month a section with a debt of $ 37 appeared, but then the section disappeared and the money did not appear. Sales on the site have increased, but the authors earn 25%, and maybe less.
It looks like a big deception, so I sent my music all to Adrev.
With friends, we think about how to initiate a tax audit of motion array.
I will see 1-2 months, if nothing changes, I will delete all my tracks from the motion array. I will not work for free!

I agree.

They totally devalued everyone's work in Dec 2018, and what was essentially (on average) a $7 sale/item (split 50-50) has now become between $0.25-$0.50/item, with the unlimited downloads. They got a short-term boost in sales - but now items are appearing on torrents, google drive sites, pirate sites, etc, etc.

I'm sure some authors (a small portion) may have seen a boost in sales, but I believe that is just short term. I think other authors that may have seen very little sales now see a small increase (but overall - less for the majority because now it is more widely distributed, as well as at a lower value).

A number of people complained, but they don't seem to care, because they went ahead and did what they felt like anyways, in spite of a very large protest.

Really the only way is to delete your portfolio, and not submit there. If a number of people did the same, then yes - I think it would stop that.

It is the same with envato elements.

Pretty much anything can be found there. For the last 20 years. People who use those sites are not your potential customers.

Plenty of people pay for assets. We can't really do much against piracy, and worrying about it just drives us crazy. Sad, but true...

Footage is somewhat protected here due to the filesize. Not many are prepared to download 300 GB for 1,000 clips they may not need.

From a consumer perspective, why not let the computer download for some days for "valuable, free" assets?

Unfortunately, many people seem to download whatever "free" that "might use one day" found from wherever.
I recall the days that people sold HHDs with tons of downloaded music or movies. Nowadays guess they pirate sell "assets".

Not much can be done, except watermarking everything. Being greedy is a human feature. Others fight it inside others not.

There have always been pirates, but during these two months there is a very large release of material from the Motion Array to the piracy sites. You cant protect it if the buyer downloaded it, but you cannot defend it in Adrev, Eri's condition. But this is different.

Very low price, and the lack of normal statistics. Website revenues are growing, but the authors' incomes are falling. And so my friends write, I saw screenshots of their statistics. I hope Ill change for the better, otherwise Ill delete the portfolio with motion array. I will not distribute my music for free, so that later it can be downloaded on pirate sites.

Eri independently shifts the cost to the lower side without asking the authors about it, there is no lower limit. He conducts promotions from the pockets of the authors, and then he says: you see, it will be better for you from this. But it is better only to him. He asked to write positive reviews on the Trust, to make links to the site ... and now he writes any words: do not like it - leave.
Stoke, its like a joint stock company, where every author is a shareholder and has the right to vote. I think that Eri does not play fair!

Today a buyer wrote to me that he downloaded my music for four days. He wanted to know if music was in Adrev. But the problem is different ... in the statistics this month this track was not downloaded. I uploaded it to the site two years ago. Erie does not play fair ((

I've heard many times about situations where people who download assets illegally from pirate sites have the nerve to ask the original authors for help.

Dear Musalex,

Eri does not play fair? Who are you?

We pull total revenue from Stripe and split it with authors. This is visible in your author stats.

Why not just quit Motion Array if we are so "unfair". It amazes me how you don't exercise your freedom and instead come in here bashing a small marketplace. Some of our stats from top-earning authors for the month of April 2019:

4657.66   USD
4549.36   USD
4152.54   USD
3621.97   USD
3214.2   USD
3154.43   USD
3031.68   USD
2962.08   USD
2891.36   USD
2805.21   USD
2658.48   USD
2440.09   USD
2415.83   USD
2383.23   USD
2318.37   USD
2308.12   USD
2252.78   USD
2011.32   USD
1863.36   USD
1856.85   USD
1853.6   USD

Of course, you are going to say I am lying. But I am not. Frankly, I don't care. Keep trying to discredit us...the truth is always there, while you hide here like a coward. Maybe you are just lazy and want to blame your inadequate talents on someone else.

Peace.

-Eri

You should ask Leaf for a verified logo. You could be anyone calling yourself Eri.

Well what a great advert for other contributors! Instead of trying to sort out the issues you resort to unprofessional name calling and insults!

Where did you learn your business practises from?

I'm glad I never bothered with your outfit  :P

Fair enough...I agree with you, I lost my cool. I am sorry. This is not the only time or place where I've been seeing these type of posts from Musalex. He seems to be doing these, while clearly continuing to be an author of Motion Array. I just don't get it.

Telling me that I do not respect authors really got to me. Motion Array is not perfect and neither am I... but the entire thing has been built around authors.

Peace.

Eri

Eri, firstly, I not organize any movements against you, I do not have time for this. If you say this, then give me the link where I do it!
Now about respecting the work of the author:
1. What is the lower price level? And why from the first month and now the price is 2 times less?
2. Why can't I protect my music in Pro or AdRev? Why should I then prove to AdRev that this is my music, and not a buyer with Motion Array?
3. Why don't you give customers a license if Motion Array has a successful stock?
4. Why are there no customer statistics? (it is not necessary to write that it is difficult! The statistics script is easy to write or install ready)
