highest number of sales in SS ever (not highest revenue - who got all my OD's this month!!??) ;)

Decent all round on other sites, giving consistent growth in line with my goals. Happy about that.

Although got HEAPS of subs on Veer this month, which lowered rpd massively there. Anyone else experience the same at Veer lately?

Overall a pretty good month :)

SS.  almost BME. great month.

IS.  good month up 30%.  PP: exeptionally good.

DT.  Great month, good prices as usual.

FT.  coming on strong with some ELs.
----------------------------------------------------------
RM sales:  better then ever.

SS: BME
123RF: BME
DP and FT just as normal.

But still very happy with the overall results.  ;D

Very good month ..  ;D ;D ;D

SS - BME   8) 8) , Compared with my last BME: 15% increase in revenue , 20% increase in sales. Lots of OD ,SAO,and good EL's
FT - very good month  :)
DT - good month  :)
123RF - average  ???

The pie slices:

SS - 70%
FT - 15%
DT - 10%
123RF - 3%
Others - 2%

SS is at 70% not because i earn little on the other agencies ... because SS is that good.

Up on last month which was horrible. Down on last years october.
I'd say earnings for October were okay

First time ever it is looking like I will earn less than the previous calender year.
This is my 6th year in microstock

Appears to be due to lower earnings at both shutterstock and istock.

My portfolio is 10% bigger than this time last year.
Looks like my files are starting to fall down the best match faster than I am submitting them.

3rd best month ever in total earnings

SS - BME (not that great as for number of downloads but above average number of ODs, ELs and Single DL)
DT - very good (more than 100% up compared to September)
FT - BME by a narrow margin (4th in a row)
123rf - worst month of the year
CanStock - less than 50% of September's earnings
BS - not as good as September but sales are slowly picking up these months

Average months on other sites (except BME on Crestock)
iS - still too soon to judge with only few hundreds images online.

Excellent month.  ;D

By the time iStock's figures catch up with end of month, and TS figures come in it will be an overall BME.

SS actually made four times the amount at iStock - which is an exceptional first!  Usually it's around three times more.  My figures show this to be a combination of SS sales increasing and iStock sales dropping.

I only had my usual number of ELs, ODs and SODs at SS - so nothing exceptional there to skew the figures.

Overall an average month for this year.
BME for dls (not revenue) at SS, BME at 123rf (though this does not mean much, it is on a very low scale). Average month at DT and the second worst month of the year at FT (last Oktober my income at FT was almost 3times what it is now). Still not very enthusiastic about uploading new images... .

I really need to rethink my subjects, everybody gets slapped in the head with ELS, SODS, ODDS, whatever, and I get none of them across the board.

BME for Oct 2012, but also pretty standard growth, which I certainly won't complain about.

I think when we claim X% growth is would also be usefull to know how many images one added.  if you have 200% port growth and 100% income growth then your income hasn't really grown a whole lot... in fact it would be more appropriate to say it has been reduced.

So my details are 22% income growth over 2011 and 23% port growth over 2011.  So the income growth was a little smaller than the port growth.  I have high hopes for Nov to be another BME.. but who knows.  In the past it's gone both ways.

Good point Leaf, and I figured this  out the other day... so very happy to report:

Between 2011 and Oct 2012, my port grew by one fifth and my income tripled.  :D

Many of us are reporting BME's... so the microstock industry is in a continuous growth.  ;D

ETA actually just leave it at that, no point encouraging the competition too much ;)

LOL @ Microbius.

I've ETA'd a few times for that very reason myself!

My only complaint is that Istock sales continue to nose dive, PP was flat this month, but overall is rising, helping to offset IS losses. FT suckie as usual.  BigStock crummy month.

123, SS, DT, DP, PD, CanStockPhoto and Alamy all up over last month.  Stockfresh even managed to pull in $12 bucks this month ::)

Overall BME (only by 1,5%), and BME for Shutterstock (17% up), Bigstock, 123rf and DP.
I was really happy with this, until Leaf started talking about port growth.
My port grew with 18% since Oct. 2011, and earnings by 10%, so thanks Leaf, you got me depressed again  ;)
Istock is down again, but partner sales covered the loss, even with some growth.  DST and FT are down 7% compared to Oct. 2011, but I'm not complaining, knowing that -7% is really good compared to others.
Canstock and GLO are down more than 25%.

Keeping my fingers crossed for November.  I expected a bad start today, as it's a holiday in many countries, but at least it's doing better than a weekend.

One off topic question :  why are Leaf and I the only ones in this topic showing port size (and links to portfolio) ?

Yes but Tyler is right here. Growth is still only in comparison to what amount one has uploaded, etc. Example: during the last six months I have had an average of about 12, RM sales per month and for quite big sums, some involving right and everything. For being RM, thats extremely good.
However when I then look at the amount of RM shots uploaded/accepted over the past 6 months, which is quite a bit, considering I have been concentrating on RM very hard.
Well, all of a sudden sure its a good growth no doubt but its more like the growth you would expect rather then massive.

Excellent month.

My 2nd BME (behind March 2012)

For me, Oct 2012 was:

+ 8% compared to Sept 2012
+ 1% compared to Oct 2011 (when SS was delivering a massive wave of ELs and before FT started punishing Emeralds)

Wow, I'm glad you pointed this out.  I woke up to sales being about half of what I would expect for a Thursday.  Glad to hear a holiday could be the cause and not something more alarming.

Maybe will be fine if we beside BME, etc...  write also how big portfolio we have.
Because I am new here, 4-6 months, I have small portfolios.
300-800 photos, depends on which stock agency ( 800 DP, CS; 500 DT, FT... and only 280 on SS and  IS, because of IS limit 18 photos/week.
I have sold 103 photos on SS in october, BME.
On other stocks 10-20.
Is this ok for start?
