Assuming an equal amount of your images were on every website, can you estimate how much royalties per image you get on average on every website combined?  (royalty $$$ divided by downloads)

Example: $1000 a month on 500 downloads = $2.00 a download

And also, if you feel inclined, how much $$$ in royalties per image in the combined collection?  (royalties divided by # of images in the collection when you add all websites, assuming you had equal amounts of images on each website)  Example:  $1000 a month on a collection of 750 images = $1.33 an image.

I'll play, since monthly earnings per image is a number I track.  For Nov 2011, the average earnings per image was $4.08.   (I don't track number of downloads.)

Er ... 86? I don't actually understand the question so that was a bit of a guess. Did I win?

42.

When in doubt, on matters such as this, or the Meaning of Life, the answer is always 42.

 Hi SkylineHunter,

If I am correct I think you are asking for a monthly return not a yearly. My per image per month sales average is $1.11 per image on 3500 images in Micro. With an average total for the year at $46,620. I am not an exclusive at Istock and my work is distributed between 10 sites. Hope this helps.

Happy Holidays,
Jonathan

Stockmarketer, that's very impressive. I know you want to remain anonymous, and I don't blame you, but are you prepared to say what you upload? Photos? Vectors? 3D?

.4526644 33 and a 1/3rd is my number.

There's no way to assume anything is equal anywhere. IS doesn't take what SS does. SS takes things that IS doesn't. I upload different things to different places.

I did get a 5 cent backup CD sale on SS three years ago. Can I count that?
