I don't know anything about the Tax, I'm not in the US. You'd need to talk to Clipartof.com.

Sorry.

Carla

Clipartof states on it´s website that it needs the same paperwork shutterstock is asking for right now.
So every contributor who is not an US-citizen MUST have this tax- formular before he want´s to apply. That´s what their website explicitly says.

Is there another illustration site which is not from the US? (I don´t want to have the hassle with all these formulars and such).

They are not asking for the same thing. They are just asking for a form to be filled. You fill in the form, send it, and you are done.

Whereas Shutterstock is asking for a ridiculous procedure just to get an ITIN.

It takes about 3 minute to download, print, put your address, sign it, scan and email back. NO HASSLE.

So it's possible to leave ITIN number blank in the form?

If your not from the US as far as I know you just do the basics.
You can check with Jamie, but that's what I remember. It was simple.

Hi Dennis,
May I ask how many images you have in your portfolio there? What kinds of images are they?

Just an update, I expect to have over 20,000 images there by the end of the year.

YEP it's a pro-artist site.

I personally think it best to put different styles on each site, if you are capable.

Not true!! :D The best is to be a soild artist and to be known for doing great work with a powerful unique style/look if you have a couple styles you should upload all everywhere. with over 70,000+ dls on SS alone I can say that you should upload everything you can to whatever site you want. (time permitting). I think some of my buddies in the stock world would agree with me  :D
