HAHA

Nice work today. Great sales today for a lot of people but you take the cake.

It was my best day anywhere.  And glad to hear that things are good across the board.  I hope your FTP problems are repaired and you have a quiet weekend.

IF

New day, new problem :-)
I have uploaded a batch of ca. 80 images via FTP yesterday. After processing them via FTP-button, all seems to be OK. I have
sent some of them for review, the rest ca.60 images were in section 'to submit'.
I have log on today and what I see? All 60 images were automatically rejected (from section to submit) because of 'problem loading thumbnails'  even if there
were correct thumbnails before. When I have uploaded them yesterday, thumbnails were loaded correctly.

I have  already sent email to support.
Has anybody noticed the same problem?

Can't say I do. I've been uploading regularly, and everything worked fine. No issues whatsoever.

I just saw that IF.  I am working to correct that but that is a bug on our side and the files were not rejected bc of any issues that a reviewer saw.

Hi all,
Last few days I am trying to upload files to Cutcaster using Internet Explorer, but John said that I have to use FTP Software to upload files. Software like Fillezilla.
John even sent me a tutorial on how to use all of these softwares, but I want to use the IE instead.
I have been doing this for years and for many agencies and I only use IE.
Why is Cutcaster different?
Is there any way to use IE to FTP files to Custcaster or I must use Fillezilla or a similar software?

I don't know the details of this problem but I do know that IE isn't as flexible as a standolone FTP client.   Did John explain why IE wouldn't work?

No,
But even the Cutcaster's "upload media files" doesn't work for me. Files end up in the "rejected bin".
I think they have a serious problem there.

I'm trying an FTP upload now.

It happened to me last week. I uploaded a bunch that worked fine, then another bunch of 10 or so all went to the reject bin with no thumbnails. I cancelled them. I am going to be trying to upload about 6 within the next hour. We'll see if it works.

When I uploaded a bunch via FTP last week (see post above ^^) I had problems with the thumbs.

I just uploaded 6 via the CC online uploader and they worked ok.

This should be working now. If you had files that were rejected automatically just email me and let me know so we can move them back to the upload area. Also you can just erase those files and reupload them again. Thanks for your patience.

I just signed up to Cutcaster today  :)

I am not sure I have things set up correctly to find my FTP Files after their upload ...

Here's what I've done if anyone can help me get this to work:

#1 I am using "host: content.cutcaster.com -
username: anonymous - password: (leave blank) - Thank You!"

#2 I have clicked "process FTP uploads" without any apparent results.

#3 Keep checking back to that green button in case I didn't wait long enough ...

Did you include your Folder ID in the remote path?

I tried like this content.cutcaster.com/xxxxxxxxxxxxx  for FTP server field ...

I also tried putting /xxxxxxxxxxxx in FTP initial folder when above did not work.

This /xxxxxxxxxxxx is correct. What FTP software are you using?
I ended up switching to FileZilla to upload to cutcaster.

I was using WS_FTL Le but it did not have a place to put the /xxxxxxxxxxxx

I upload with Cushy 2.3.2 Pro.
There is a field for "FTP Initial Folder" ... I'll try it again using "/xxxxxxxxxxxx in that field.

*** I got it to work !

Thanks  njnightsky :)
