In my case:
Overall rank:  49  (was at 45)
7 day rank:   136

My 7 day rank used to be around my overall rank or better.  Then there was a pretty sudden change a couple of months ago, and now my 7 day rank is mostly over 100.  This is sad, as earnings are obviously affected pretty dramatically.

Not sure of the reason for the sudden decline, but coming on top of falling downloads at iStock, coupled with dramatically rising local currency against the USD, the picture is a bit gloomy.  Maybe it's because I've uploaded "only" 440 images to Fotolia in the last year?  If so, I'd better get back to work...

Exact same experience here.  Fewer sales and of those I am getting 80% subs.  Very disappointing from a site that was doing so well.

I agree!  Shutterstock has overtaken Fotolia as my #2 earning site.  The way it's going, Fotolia might even fall below Dreamstime for me.  Very sad.  Sales and views of new images in particular seem to be well down.  Thank goodness for improving sales on SS and DT!

+2. I don't know what's happened at FT either. This month they are virtually neck and neck with DT when usually they are more than 2x higher. My Absolute Rank has been steady for some weeks too which suggests I am doing no worse or better than those around me.

Maybe it is the curse of the greedy stock agency? At this rate only SS will be left. Can I be alone in thinking that sales at SS are off the wall this month though? Staggering numbers coming in and well on course for another BME at SS. It just seems that that's where all the buyers are migrating to.

Sorry to hear that Ft is not doing  well for you.
I have to say that lately I've been a little nervous because I too have notice a slight downward change. It's not a lot but just enough to get me worried. My overall rank went as low as 52 but in the last 2 months something has happened.
I also have noticed a lot more subs than ever before but I can't complain too much because all sites are still growing extremely well!

Has anyone else had their rank completely disappear recently?  Up until a couple of days ago it was there at the top of the page.  Now I don't see it up there anymore. 

Not complaining.  Quite the contrary.  It's a relief not to see how much my position has slipped each time I login.

Ah!  Thanks for figuring that one out Patrick.  Good to know how to switch back to submitter mode.  Not sure if I will do it though.  I only get depressed looking at my weekly counter. 

It's fun that I had already adjusted my page to contributor mode, but today it was back to customer mode.

In June 2009, my overall rank was 503.  They cut commissions and stopped me reaching the gold ranking level that I was getting close to.  I lost enthusiasm to upload new stuff and now my rank is 657.  My weekly rank is 2,510 and my earnings have crashed to around 30% of their peak.  The gold ranking level that I should be on now looks a long way away.  For 3 years I worked hard to increase my earnings but now I really couldn't care less.  There's no incentive.  It's cost me a lot of money but they have lost out as well.  If the rewards were there, I would of carried on moving up the rankings, instead of going in to free fall.  I wonder how much more money they would of made from me if they hadn't taken my incentive away?

My 7 day rank has dropped like a stone of a cliff. It has doubled, although my sales didn't drop, at least not much, I'm too lazy to check. That means many ppl must be having great sales, best weeks ever even
