Thanks  Madelaide for commenting my pic  ;D

Gregor909

Uh Pierre, you killed the thread!
Now who wants to comment on that image? You got so much better stuff! I commented on the "greenland"-pic.
You have amazing sky images! Are you a pilot?

Here's my port. Just pick any you like!

northflyboy

Hey Gregor909,
I'm not sure wich is worst to kill a thread, post an image no one wants to comment on or omit to post a link  to comment on :D  Thanks for the compliment on sky images, I am indeed a pilot.
Here is a link to my portfolio:

So while we're scared in our seats, you take pics???   ::)

Hi madelaide,
Sorry to hear that you are scared back there.  The front seat has a much better window and not sharing what I see from there would be selfish. If you look at my pictures, you will see that they are taken at altitude, where things are a bit more relaxed. Sometimes just after takeoff or just before landing, I wish I was in the back where I could take pictures...
Just came back from New York, and I wish I had time to take pictures there, too busy though.

Oh great I'm being ignored! :(

Pierre, I sure don't hope you read your gauges like you read the forum!
Look closely, there is a link!  ;D

I always dreamed about being a pilot!
I did shoot some pictures a few years ago in the cockpit, but that was before 9/11. I don't think they will let me in again if ask now!
Being a hopeless amateur at he time, the images where horrible, everything outside overexposed!
Oh and I had Microsoft flight simulator! Do you think it is accurate compared with flying for real?  ;D

northflyboy

Hi Gregor909,
I just rated one of your pictures, and no I don't read the gauges like the forum ;) But in my defense, your link is pretty easy to miss.  I got you covered now.
As for MS flight sim, I am not a gamer and I tried it once with a friend who plays a lot of games and he can outfly me on the computer any day. Than is my only experiende with this game. It did look pretty realistic though.

Cheers,

Pierre

I'm really lost here on whose turn it is, so I rated Gregor909's, Photopierr's and Vonkara's (I picked a non-rated image from each of you).

Now here is a series of images, none of which has been rated before.  I'll observe how rating change the search results.

More surely than in LO, I see ratings helping images improve in StockXpert results - and sales. So I think we should resume this thread.

These are my New Years 2008 images, that get lost in the search results (even if one filters photos only - too many vector/graphics images are apparently incorrectly marked as photos). Comments in any of them is appreciated.

See?  The pic Vonkara rated yesterday sold today.  There is definitely a good trend with the rating.

I had a very good day at StockXpert today, BTW.

Just to remind the rules posted at the beginning by Kngkyle:

- Either rate an image a 10 or don't rate it at all.
- Post a positive comment or don't post anything at all.
- You obviously cannot post twice in a row.

As this is intended to make us more popular for buyers (yesssss :-), I suggest sticking to the rules above. If you don´t feel the image deserves a 10, "don't rate it at all".

Adeleide: Thanks, I got it! (I didn´t realize at first the tiny box was there for comments :-)
