Before upload a part of my portfolio here I'd like to know how easy is to delete images at Yaymicro. I don't want to make same mistake that I made with Dreamstime and Albumo.
Thanks
Each photo has a delete button...not sure if you can delete the whole port with one click.

Wow! Congratulations! First sale on the first day. That's great.

And 5 Euro royalty. Not bad.

Wow, that was fast!  Congrats!  What is the inaugurating image?

I've got just over 300 images there, and hope they do well.

161 up there for me with more pending as the web form upload process is a breeze :)

Do they pay thru moneybookers?

Hey, the site has been up a day and I haven't got a bunch of sales yet!!!

Relax. I'm just practicing in case this one turns out to be another LO.

Peter

LOL.

I really like the site. Started uploading today. In next few days I plan to upload about 3000 images. Maybe it will be waste of time, but I am confident that it might pay off. We shall see. I expect at least 30 euros income per month from Yay, everything less would be a waste of time.

I've whacked up something like 250 images to start off with. Really excited to see how this one goes, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for them.

I love the upload system. I think there no better upload system...

I'm breaking my personal rule about not uploading to small/new sites to give Yaymicro a try.  It's mainly in response to the Fotolia fiasco.  Since I have time to upload in place of Fotolia, I decided to do some research on Yay.

It looks like they have an experienced, impressive management team in place.  That gives one hope they will survive and become a player.  They are saying the right things with their open communication in the forums - particularly regarding their upcoming advertising campaign.

The site itself is as smooth as silk.  I am very impressed, though let's see how well it moves along once there are five times as many contributors and five times as many buyers.

The upload process is truly the best.  Imagine the Shutterstock upload process minus the categories.  It's really that good.

So I will give them 6 months (unless I go exclusive somewhere in the meantime).  I'll be patient for the first 3, but months 4-6 I expect to see some results.

I'm encouraged so far though.  They seem to have a far superior system to the other small/new players, such as MostPhotos, Snapvillage, and Albumo.  And unlike Featurepics, they apparently plan to promote the site.  Fingers crossed.

;)

I actually don't like that they offer editorial (the prices are higher but still far too low for editorial content to make it worth it) so i never considered to support them but i'm so furious about FUtolia that maybe it's time to give a new site a chance is there a possibility to option-out for subscription?

DanP68

No, but subscriptions are only good for Medium size or smaller, and each sub sale pays 1 Euro.  Amazing!
