By update you mean just start the desktop app and it should update automatically right? If there is other way of updating please let me know because I run on version 1.5.0.1891 and today I had a bunch of videos soft rejected from videogive because of the codec error:
We're encountering an issue where your 4K videos play correctly, but your HD videos are failing to playback properly in Quicktime because they've been encoded using a non-standard video codec. We suspect you may be using Stock Submitter to downscale your 4K video to HD, and they had a bug recently that caused this codec issue. You'll need to update your Stock Submitter software to correct this issue. You can read more details about this issue here: https://forums.envato.com/t/stocksubmitter-users-please-make-sure-to-update-stocksubmitter/300839.

If you are not using StockSubmitter to downscale your footage, then please make sure you're uploading your footage in one of our supported codec options (H.264, Photo JPEG, or Apple ProRes). Please test all videos to confirm that they playback correctly in Quicktime before submitting them to VideoHive.

When this will be fixed?

Niakris

StockSubmitter is encoding videos with H264 when downsizing to HD at the moment.
The version you're using is correct.

Please make sure those files that got rejected were actually uploaded with this new version and not earlier.
May be you had some files uploaded earlier that got submitted later due to the limit on VideoHive?

I do not have a limit on Videohive. The files that got rejected where in fact using the last version. I think you are using a non-standard h264 codec or something that apple and their quicktime do not like.
I have talked with somebody from the tech support of the app and I think they re-directed all the talk to you, so I am not gonna re-rewrite everething here.
Please just let as know when it will be fixed. Thank you!

Yes we've discussed that with them and resolved the issue already by replacing the PhotoJPEG codec with x264.
x264 is a modern codec and should work on any platform.
Probably it's a mistake on their end, I'll contact them directly to ask what is wrong.

Could you also tell me what version is displayed in the title bar of the StockSubmitter window for you?

I can't log into StockSubmitter since yesterday. The login window states, that the service will temprarily be unaivalable to users from the EU, because the platform needs an update regarding the european GDPR law. How long will this take?

What are the new icons with numbers in upper left of the thumbnails? Where can I find release notes.
