I disabled my portfolio May 31/June 1 and have left my portfolio name and message alone.

If anyone wants to find my work they can google my name and the other agency sites will show up, so there's no need to direct anyone there. I am putting plugs for the other agencies into the tweets about #BoycottShutterstock, but that's it.

Arguably, a series of empty portfolio pages - a ghost town of names with no portfolios - might be an even more potent message. No one likes to eat in an empty restaurant - it feels weird; licensing images on a site where content from your lightbox isn't there any more and there are bunches of empty portfolio pages sends a loud and clear message to buyers.

I've already disabled my portfolio.
But it's not for a week, it's for an indefinite time (at least two months if nothing changes, then I'll see what to do - at least that's my state of mind for now. I'm extremely angry, but when I calm down I might have a different point of view).

I don't think deactivating the portfolio for just one week will have a big impact on Shutterstock.
The financial impact will be almost zero if a very large majority don't do it. And I highly doubt this will happen (sorry but with age I have less and less confidence in humans).
And the moral impact will be even less because these people (Shutterstock) have no morals!

Moreover by reading the different forums and social media, I realize that a large part of the contributors don't even know what's going on.

But I understand very well that many contributors don't have the chance to deactivate their portfolio for more than a week.
That's why we, those of us who can do it, have to make an extra effort, for them.

Same here already removed 8000 images and 1200 videos! did that in the beginning of last week!

I just tried to enable my videos, everything went fine, didn't show any errors or anything. I disabled them right back.

Stock images deactivated. Stock videos will be deactivated later this week. Both heading for full deletion and account deactivation.

I disabled my portfolio this morning and am scrambling to figure out how to delete everything.
