Just disabled 2874 vectors and 2363 motion graphics and animations. (https://www.shutterstock.com/g/benchart?rid=709372)
I guess they will disappear soon
$131,473 lifetime and 211,731 downloads since december 2010

No way going from $0,38 to $0,10 subscriptions sales! They should have set them to $0,42 instead to thanks their big contributors >:(

Deactivated image portfolio.
Best seller over 9k downloads with second best over 5.5k downloads since 2014.
Video portfolio was already disabled end of May.

A week though? no for me as long as it takes even if that means forever and it probably will.

Respect to all of you who took and are taking action!
For some it's easy, for others it was/is a very difficult decision to make but in the end we all did what was/is best in this situation.

I have seen some great portfolio's being disabled from known faces (way back when I started)
I have also noticed that those who were once featured on SS have done nothing. Maybe they got a deal or they just don't care about any of this. They are successful in other areas besides Microstock so can afford to take action but apparently choose not to do so. These were people I once admired but now I have a totally different opinion of them.

What didn't I understand?
What is the point of procrastinating for 15 days?
Why do only today what could (should) have been done 10 or 15 days ago?
You don't understand the difference between personal war and organized protest. First is effective for a person, if he/she think so. The second - is a way to solve problem. We do it all at once to show we are unite.

A lot of people did it together 10 or 15 days ago to show they're united... I was one of them.
It only took me two or three days to understand what the situation was and where we were going.  It wasn't really very difficult, a little personal experience helped by some historical users of the forum (Jo Ann before any other) allowed me to understand very quickly how it was going to end.
And as I wrote several times, I didn't do it for me, I don't give a crap about my earnings with Shutterstock, my real earnings are quite different.

But hey, better late than never....

And it also makes me think that if we really want to act this way, it might be interesting to organise successive and regular waves, to increase the pressure a little more each week.
But I don't think a forum or a Facebook page, even if it's a good start, is enough.

We need to contact and raise awareness, especially among the players in the sector, creative people, advertising agencies, journalists in the photographic, video and graphics sector. Some are already doing this. More needs to be done. Spreading the word is important, we can't just discuss it among ourselves, it doesn't lead to much, let's not get too many illusions.
What worries me a lot is that at the end of the day, few people in the Microstock world are really aware of the situation.  Every day I see, on the Shutterstock forum, people still asking "what's going on?", people who are completely ignorant of the situation. There are a lot of them.
I've also realized that among those who know about Shutterstock, there are a lot of people who don't know about AdobeStock or Alamy, or whatever. And that's probably true among the customers as well.
So there's still a lot to do, but we have to act as quickly as possible, we have to strike while the iron is hot!

Also show SSTK as unethical company on the investment forums, such as finance.yahoo.com, ...
Sold all my SSTK holdings and won't buy it again. Bought ADBE instead.

Someone has an idea about how long that it takes for the deactivated portfolio to be not viewable on SS ?

15000 profile erased for about 3-4 days. And yes it depends on current load of their web server.

Did what I should have done on June 1st. Disabled.

Was heading towards a really good month in sales volume while income and RPD felt more like a stock market crash played on FF, making it look like it's not the 15th of June but the 7th of June.

I don't think these little acts of protest will make them change their minds, but hey, because I'm not depending on this income, the least I can do is support and sympathize with the ones that are depending on it but deactivate their ports anyhow.

Is there any chart showing the whole picture from the end of May, when many of us started deactivating our ports?

I don't know. And now something seems to have happened...it shows a huge plunge only today, and stats aren't updating.

It needs to be fixed. I see all dots on the same level. But they contain different data.

Chichikov

I didn't quite get it, is this an official Shutterstock graph?

Atomazul

Permanently deleted about 1500 clips from Shutterstock and moved them to Pond5 Exclusive.

Permanently deleted my top selling images, continuing to delete my best quality images selectively.

Just disabled my remaining 2000 images for the cause.

I don't believe so. Someone posted it on the coalition page. Odd that it seems to be malfunctioning today, when so many are disabling their ports.

In my case, earning drops are not very severe, June will probably be below average month but it does not seem tragical so far. Average price per image dropped a lot but the amount of sales increased. Nevertheless, there is still small amount of data to do better conclusions. Have not disabled whole portfolio but will disable videos at first (considering images as well).

Amount of sales increased because other people are disabling their ports, and now you're capitalising on that.

Don't forget that this new system allows SS to discount as much as they want, to grab market share from agencies paying more fairly!

I am not so sure (not saying that there is zero corelation). The fact is that sales went up before the start of this boycott (the size of database almost have not changed). I have already disabled video port and stopped uploads now, but I am still keeping the image portfolio for a while. I do not rule out the possibility to disable image port soon as well.
