My beautiful collection of face masks, vaccine vials and restriction signs is getting less and less sales. What to shoot now? What's your idea of shooting something for the current news market?

Climate change. Protecting our ecosystems. Less reliance on fossil fuels. Governments not doing enough, or fast enough.

If you're still not convinced about climate change, or to get more info, read up on Thwaites Glacier, or latest UN report on climate change 2022.

Unamas

Annie, the question is not convinced or not, but would it be sold. There are already 361,431 climate change stock photos.

Hi Unamas

That's not enough - compare to 4+ million photos of tomatoes. ;)

But seriously, I looked and out of those 361k, there's 229k wind farms. But there's a lot more aspects to this than just wind farms.  From the latest hot debates about production of beef (methane) to a whole range of other things. Plus its very topical now with Russian Oil issues.

The end of the world as we know it.

Yeah, well, who knows ?? Maybe ??  ;)

not sure how viable a covid oriented shooting schedule was in the first place (besides the fact they'll soon pass their sell-by date, while travel, etc have long tails)

How about foreign collusion? Lots of that going around too besides the war.

Its also really annoying too. You try to make a valid honest comment in Twitter and someone comes in and calls it a "witch hunt" from China. I mean come on, we all know the truth. Who are you fooling?  ??? :P

All the consequences of inflation: Economic recession, rising prices (especially energy costs), loss of household purchasing power, rising unemployment, labour migration etc...

Covid is not over. It has been decided that Covid is over.
The current Omikron is "more harmless" but very infective, still many dies.
Politicians are used to negotiate and make agreements. They will find that they can't negotiate or make agreements with a virus.
Covid will be back with a not so harmless version.

Exactly. Covid is over only as a newsworthy (photographic) theme because ordinary people and politicians and journalists are tired of it, but as a disease it's not.

This is a very dangerous time, because when people stop feeling the danger, they stop using precautions (vaccination, masks, social distancing) and new variants may soon emerge.

A significant percentage of people in the western countries and Asia is still not vaccinated; and especially most people in Africa are not vaccinated. Time to give them free vaccines. It's not charity, it's in our own interest as well.

Actually I don't even think Omicron is as harmess as some people make it out to be. I have stopped paying so much attention to infection or even hospitalization numbers, but look at death cases in various countries each day. Here in daily Germany death cases are on the rise, already surpassing the numbers of the original first wave. Considering we have vaccine and the variant is more harmless than the original one, that's not looking too peachy? People just have gotten "used to it". Like "Yeah, hundreds of peole die from Corona in our country every day, so what?"  :'(   It has lost its horror.  And then, of course, the war is a much more pressing matter right now. In the past I could open any random German news site each day and find all the new Corona numbers there - hospitalizatins, death cases, infection rates. Now I have to look them up on official sites each day, because hardly any news site reports them anymore. But just because news sites aren't reporting much about Covid anymore doesn't mean it is over. And the future, with the possibility of new and more servere variants emerging, is still a big unknown.

Shoot new world order, transhumanism, central banks, social credit systems, loss of personal property. More bioterrorism. Frankenfood made from soy, disappearance of beef. Plant-based food. Big agriculture.

Yes, great advice, indeed!
In other words, shoot QAnon and other conspiracy theory topics.  ;D

The world needs shots of green tomatoes. Stay away from the red ones.

Plant-based food.

Y'know, the basis of all life on Earth. Surely people aren't objecting to Plant Based Foods?

As if I'd discuss anything with you. LOL. Eat what you'd like, I'm sure you know all about it.
